I only stayed one night and felt a little unsatisfied. The hot springs are highly recommended, especially since there are fewer tourists; it's quiet and perfect for relaxing. The accommodation includes breakfast and dinner, which were quite good. Free parking is also available.

This hotel is a transit point for a road trip from Aomori to Sendai. It has a classic, old-fashioned style and spacious rooms. The bathing facilities are excellent, and there are professional massage therapists. Unfortunately, there are no milk vending machines, so you can't get a bottle after soaking in the hot springs. Also, there are no convenience stores nearby. The hotel includes two meals a night. The staff are very welcoming, and the food is quite good. It's very inconvenient without a car, but the calm and quiet environment was perfect for a relaxing night. It's just over an hour's drive from Lake Towada and Oirase Gorge, but for hotels in the same price range, the cleanliness and food were better than hotels around Lake Towada. The only downside is that there are only a limited number of places to eat within walking distance, so it's probably best to have dinner at the hotel or eat in advance. The room was clean and the food was delicious, so I was very satisfied.
