The buffet (both breakfast & dinner) was wonderful! The chef prepared signature desserts and the draft beef (premium) was so good. There are several hot spring at the hotel, and the water quality and facility was good too.

Top-notch service, breathtaking views, and amazing food! Lake Shikotsu has the clearest water in all of Japan. The tap water in the room is sweet, crisp, and safe to drink directly. The onsen (hot spring) water leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and moisturized—the water quality here is simply superb.

Definitely a value for money resort to stay. Not cheap but everything at the resort made the money well worth. From the service, the environment, the food (breakfast and dinner), the facilities (onsen, gym, etc). Highly recommended. Btw, morning scenery of lake shikotsu is so beautiful and peaceful, so serene.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors. Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area. Hightlights: The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the "His&Her" sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch. Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries. Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless. Observations: Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity. Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV. Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door. Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.

It was a freezing cold day. When I arrived at the hotel, they scrolled through several pages of booking lists but couldn't find my name. I had booked the buffet dinner, but it turned out to be in a separate building. We mentioned we had children and hoped to eat earlier. Dinner started at 6 PM, but when we left our room at 5:45 PM, they told us it was already full and we shouldn't bother going over... Then, we waited until 6:40 PM for them to call and say there were finally seats available. Everything else was fine, but it definitely wasn't worth over 6000 a night.
