Dar Rif Kebdani

My Australian friend and I stayed for 2 nights in this delightful small hotel in easy distance to the ferry, the city and the older part of the city. My friend booked this hotel, I was thrilled with all aspects of it. We arrived by taxi close by and as we started pulling out suitcases up the path that was identified a young man (boy) came and offered to take my friend’s case and show us the way, which he did. We were greeted with a glass of mint tea and a sweetmeat. Then our cases were taken upstairs for us (thank goodness), and our room was lovely. Air con and ensuite. On our leaving by ferry to go to Gibraltar we were helped by a hotel worker to get to the ferry, a few hundred metres from the hotel when his friend along the way told him the ferry was closed due to rough weather, we would have to be driven to the big ferry an hour away. This was of great concern, but, the young man took his phone, returned in 5 minutes to say his friend would take us in his vehicle for set price and would come in 10 minutes. After about 5 minutes waiting by a taxi rank where others drivers were standing the hotel worker had to leave so he asked a taxi driver to help us when the friend came along, this transpired just as he requested!

We just spent two magical days at the Riad Dar Kebdani in Tangier, celebrating my birthday. This riad was everything we wanted and more. The exterior and interior were full of character, quirkiness, and charm. We were spoiled by a number of outside terraces with beautiful views, particularly our own private terrace. The service was excellent and we would like to thank Ayoub, Ahmed, and Ismail. Breakfast was delicious and home made by the lovely chef, Soukaina. The riad was in the heart of the Medina yet very peaceful. We would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully visit again in the future. Miguel and Martin

Dar Rif Kebdani was a wonderful place for our family of four to spend a night in Tangier. Our two rooms were clean, comfortable, and cozy, and everyone we encountered on the staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. We felt safe and well cared for throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the view from the rooftop was quintessential Tangier—a perfect way to take in the city. Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. The staff are amazing. The included breakfast is very delicious and convenient. The location right in the old town is very good. I would stay there again and tell anyone I know going to Tangier to stay here as well.

Lovely family-run mini hotel. Wifi throughout. Rooftop terrace is absolutely lovely. Hot water and good shower water pressure. Service and hospitality was fantastic. Stairwell is steep and narrow, so use caution while climbing with luggage.

Nice experience , the location inside the old madina of Tangier the house is clean and quiet . breakfast was amazing the staff make it even incredible Bashir was an exceptional host very gentle and always in service , He shares lot of moroccan history and showed us places to visit around the city . We loved morocco not just as a place but becouse of moroccan people .
