An absolutely wonderful experience! **Facilities:** Even though it's an older hotel, I was initially worried the facilities might be outdated. But when I arrived, I realized there was no need to worry at all. The overall vibe is one of rich heritage and understated luxury, without feeling old-fashioned. I personally loved it. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was excellent; I didn't notice any issues. **Environment:** Simply fantastic. Both the hotel itself and the guests staying there collectively create an atmosphere that made me feel it was truly great value for money. This is a hotel with genuinely sincere service and a superb location, well worth experiencing. I absolutely loved it.

This older hotel truly offers a great experience. For me, a good hotel is one where the space is well-designed and the layout is so practical, you'd want to replicate it at home. The breakfast was also excellent.

Booked this hotel for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary and their birthdays. The hotel found out and immediately arranged for a Peninsula cake and fruit. The cake was so delicious we ate it all before I could take a picture! My parents mentioned they liked the tea bags, and the staff promptly provided more for them. They also quickly came to teach them how to use the coffee machine. My parents were very happy. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and the location is superb. We also went to the jazz bar on the 14th floor to see the night view, which was absolutely stunning.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and the room is clean and comfortable with soft bedding. The hygiene was spotless, and the breakfast selection was quite good. Overall, it offers decent value for money!

My stay at The Peninsula Shanghai was excellent. My travel plans changed, so I extended my stay by one night, and the front desk staff were incredibly efficient and proactive in helping me resolve everything. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a great selection of local Shanghai specialties.

The Peninsula Hotel is simply beyond words. The rooms are incredibly luxurious and opulent everywhere you look. But more importantly, there's an air of 'respect' that you truly have to experience for yourself. For breakfast, I loved the Peninsula classic pancakes, and in the evening, I enjoyed the bar on the 14th floor.

Even though it's located on the Bund, there isn't much to do or see in the immediate area. The room was a bit dated but well-maintained, and the service was pretty average. Breakfast wasn't very good, and the selection was limited, so I wouldn't recommend eating at the hotel.

I originally booked a Deluxe River View Room at The Peninsula, but to my pleasant surprise, I received a complimentary upgrade to a River View Suite! What an amazing bonus! The suite offered a stunning, expansive view directly overlooking the beautiful Bund, creating a fantastic ambiance. The hotel's service was meticulous and attentive, the facilities were top-notch, and the environment was serene and elegant. During the holiday season, I even received some delightful complimentary treats. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic – truly a benchmark in luxury.
