Best Western Royal Buriram

The hotel is well located with a lovely swimming pool. We stayed on the restaurant side of the hotel and the deluxe room was very comfortable with very good wi-fi but analogue TV channels were limited and dreadful quality. The major disappointment was the breakfast, absolutely deplorable. When I visited 2017 there was a wonderful top class buffet, I revisited in 2022 and the buffet service was much reduced. Obviously covid had taken its toll and hotel guests were sparce. I booked again assuming that in 2026 would be back to the previous high standards but alas I was very sad to to see the breakfast was down to the bare minimum. In short. Boiled or fried eggs or omelette with "plastic" sausages, processed ham, toast (bread not fresh), yogurt, small fruit, jam, coffee and orange juice. All available in 7-Eleven!!! Considering the price I was paying I really think a hotel, with the worldwide reputation of Best Western, should be offering something much better. With increasing Buriram hotel competition I now understand why it had only three rooms in use when we visited and I would fear for the future of the hotel. Sadly I will not be staying there again, if you need the location I would suggest you book room only and find breakfast elsewhere.

We had a wonderful family stay here. The nice staff, good food, lovely pool, convenient location, and ample parking made it a great experience. Our requests were resolved quickly, and the quality of service exceeded the price we paid. I highly recommend this hotel in Buriram!

had a superior room not too bad two windows, with settee, work area, wifi (which was good)bathroom with shower had a power cut first night- no information and no one checked I was Ok Restaurant was very poor, food very mediocre and Breakfast was not worth trying to eat. plenty of car parking staff were ok but English poor

Not Bad not Very Good. Average Had the better room with pool view ok room, bathroom reasonable wifi ok though pulled the wifi plug out to recharge my kindle no notice warning about that Small things like toilet paper not replaced or the bottles of shower gel Eat twice in restaurant first night Thai which was ok but only had chicken fried rice, when I tried again had chicken and chips but they run out of chips - what restaurant runs out of frozen chips!!!!!!!!! the chicken was tough, the mash potatoes cold as was the veg, left it - nice gesture next day when manager return my payment for meal. Breakfast was a buffet style but not open so a basic frid edd, slice cheap ham and small frankfurter with rice soup three different choices appalling. Had a toaster but not on, no tea so while I had paid for it I did not have breakfast. large car park not in the easiest of areas to find anything. Interesting I had an extra night and paid half of what I got charged on Agoda Pool in between two parts of the hotel so gets little sun never saw anyone in it Staff pleasant but limited English Pleased I had a translator on my phone Finally I shall not be rushing back here

The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The AC and WIFI work well. The staff is friendly and accommodating, they kindly arranged for a car to pick me up at the Buriram airport and a car to take me to Korat. There is a mall and night market down the street (10-minute walk) and a 7-11 across the street.
