Hostellerie Cèdre & Spa Beaune

Don't stay here, seriously. The room was tiny, and the window was ridiculously small. I even found a hair on the bathroom wall while showering! I didn't bother complaining because my French isn't good enough to argue. I specifically told the front desk that I was traveling with a child and wanted a room closer to the elevator, not at the very end of the hallway. But guess what? They still gave me the very last room at the end of the corridor! Are they really that bad at understanding English, or was it intentional discrimination? For this price, this hotel is absolutely not worth it!

The Bona Cedars Hotel & Spa is one of the best hotels in the area, with exquisite gardens, historic buildings, and fairly well-equipped rooms. It has underground parking, and the spa is very popular, making reservations difficult. The hotel restaurant is also a Michelin-starred establishment, a rare find, but unfortunately, the service was somewhat lacking, with staff appearing slightly arrogant and indifferent. Hopefully, this wasn't specifically targeting foreign guests.

The hotel was clean and the environment was great.
