The lakehouse is a very nice and historic hotel with a beautiful atmosphere. I really enjoyed the charm and character of the place. However, the hotel is quite far from downtown, and if you want to go out and explore, you will need to take a taxi or arrange transportation. It is not very convenient if you want to walk around or easily access restaurants and shops. For this reason, I would recommend staying for one night, which I think is enough to enjoy the hotel, its surroundings, and the peaceful atmosphere. If you are planning a longer stay, it may be better to choose a hotel closer to downtown.

Still thinking about the amazing scones and afternoon tea on the terrace at The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands! 🫖🍓 The vintage decor, cozy fireplaces, and flawless service make this boutique resort so unique and romantic. Such a perfect escape from the city heat. 🕯️🍂 # . One negative point: after sunset nothing to do. No activity’s here. In-house game or activities should add if possible. Overall in a lifetime you should stay once. If you need a peaceful digital detox, this is it! 🌲

The hotel has a lot of charm, the rooms are spacious, and the staff is attentive. The surroundings are very well-maintained. However, the restaurant's value for money isn't great. Also, it's worth noting that a car is necessary as the hotel is quite isolated.

The hotel is located in the heart of Cameron Highlands, and the surroundings are pleasant. The room initially looked quite good. However, the room's decor is dated, and the sink doesn't drain properly. The showerhead in the shower stall is too close to the wall; when I tried to adjust it, it just fell off. There are also some design flaws: the shower floor and the bathroom floor are on the same level with no barrier, causing water to overflow from the shower. There's also no non-slip mat in the shower.
