Lake Side Lodge

Pretty basic stay. Kinda gross in the room. The moisture not controlled. Shower curtain incredibly moldy. Had a little cockroach come out in the bathroom and tell me goodbye when I was packing up to leave, so now I’ll have to go through all my luggage before bringing it in my house what. A joy!

The staff were very nice, and the room was ok, but the hairdryer in my room did not work. It seems it was a known and ongoing issue having to do with a faulty socket, and yet the staff did not think it was a good idea to keep an extra hairdryer handy that could be plugged into a different socket in the room. I was there for 6 nights and my room was never cleaned. I had to go down to request towels. I was told to bring the dirty ones and then they would deliver clean ones. I had to go again when they weren’t delivered and carry them up myself. I emptied my own wastebasket. But they were sweet and very helpful with my heavy suitcase.

This place was outstanding especially for the money. Staff was great and very helpful, would help you with anything. Very clean. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

The room was clean and the property well kept. Leslie and Miguel at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Great place to stay close to everything.

We enjoyed our stay. The renovated king bed room which was very clean and quiet. Lots of spots for parking. Since we checked in late at night, the staff were great in communicating how to get in, wifi codes, etc. Miguel and Leslie at the front office were very wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again!

Great value and exceptional service from Miguel, who was welcoming and made our 5-day stay very comfortable. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, the pool is lovely and inviting, and the location is fantastic: very close drive to shops, restaurants, and the beach.

Arrived after hours and parking and getting into my room was easy. Was in contact with Miguel the whole time, very nice man to work with.

There was nothing for breakfast just a few pieces of bread and couple of bagel with jelly and some juice not even proper sugar for the coffe nor did they have any other milk for any other except whole milk which not everyone drinks of which had to be requested the bathrooms are literally a cubicle not even enough to move around while showering it was just a small showering cubicle no iron in the rooms had to requested at the front desk the pool was out of servive

The room was newly renovated which was great. However with the new amenities, it seems as though things were forgotten. Miguel as attentive in any and all issues, again which was great. However, even after an attempt to fix the issue, we had no hot water.
