Ascott Raffles City Chongqing

Choosing Ascott Raffles City Chongqing was a brilliant decision. It's perfectly located right by the Jialing River, near Chaotianmen Dock. The four iconic buildings are visible from afar, making it easy to spot. Conveniently, our Yangtze River cruise disembarked at the dock directly opposite the hotel. Downstairs, you'll find Raffles City Mall, which was a pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about finding non-spicy food in Chongqing, but the mall offered a vast array of cuisines to choose from. The hotel's surroundings also boast excellent transportation links. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, equipped with a kitchen and a washing machine, truly making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were incredibly warm and proactive; when we needed more water due to the heat, they immediately brought us bottled water. On our departure day, as we had an afternoon flight and visited Zengjiayan in the morning, the hotel generously allowed us a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM. In summary, choosing Ascott Raffles City Chongqing is absolutely worthwhile when visiting the city. I would definitely pick Ascott again if I have the chance.

Booked this for a friend, and they absolutely loved it! The room was spacious and bright, with great views of both the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. The location is excellent – there's a large mall downstairs with plenty of shops and restaurants, and it's very close to Jiefangbei.

The location is excellent, right in Raffles City, next to Chaotianmen, and just a few minutes' walk to Pier 7. There's a dedicated attendant on the hotel's LG floor. The lobby on the first floor is elegant, and the service is warm. The room comes fully equipped with a direct drinking water dispenser, coffee machine, oven, induction hob, and a complete set of pots and pans. You'll also find a dining table, coffee table, sofa, and bathtub – nothing is missing. All the appliances are high-end imported brands, the air conditioning is powerful, and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but everything is exquisite and delicious. My only regret was finding half a toothpick in the fried chicken. What's truly great about this hotel is that the staff didn't constantly solicit good reviews like in some other hotels; they proved themselves through their excellent service throughout our stay.
