Their superior twin room is quite cramped with little space to move around & the desk is quite small However, the bed is comfortable, the entire hotel (including room) is very clean, and their breakfast buffet offers a variety of delicious options too!

Friendly service, very strategic location, only 20 meters from Malioboro, close to Gudeg Yu Djum. If I go to Yogyakarta again, I recommend staying at El Royal.

Great location - Near Malioboro. Breakfast was very good - wide variety of food. Loved the Indonesian cakes. Check on and check out were fast. The only thing needs to improve is housekeeping. My room floor was a bit dirty. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at El Hotel.

For the price this place is worth it. Breakfast needs a little improvement. The room was simple and clean. Bathroom was absolutely clean. Pack your toilet essentials such as soap, shampoo, lotions etc.

The hotel facility is well maintain and staffs is helpful and kind. Overall stay is great with a great location -Malioboro street, surrounded by varioys shops, resturance, foods stalls, shopping mall and Yogyakarta train station.

This hotel is off the main Malioboro street and is really convenient in terms of food, transport and shopping. The hotel is clean and service was really good. On our last night, we were gifted a little dessert as well. There breakfast has a good spread and famous dishes from Jogjakarta food was always there for your to try and see whether you'd like them or not. We really enjoyed our breakfast. Didn't have time to use the pool or gym (gym was not really equipped well), but we did use the spa for a massage. I would definitely stay here again shoudl I return for the convenience of where the hotel is (nearby with all the convenient stores).
