Le Moulin du Roc

Fantastic hotel tucked away in a historic mill. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we have had a good night’s stay. Kudos to the team

The setting is beautiful and unique. The accomodations were very nice. Our room in particular was quaint and reflective of the natural surroundings. We did have an issue with our shower but the staff were very helpful and apologetic. We ate at the onsite restaurant. The food was (maybe not Michelin Star worthy but) very good and the service was excellent. All in I would recommend this hotel as a comfortable and interesting stop in their travels.

Awful persons! Very unpleasant and unwelcoming people completely mismatching with the charming place along the river. The beauty of the place can't hide the vanity of the hotel. The room are ok, very classical. The food is good but far too expensive for what it is. The surrounding villages are lovely. Not far from Brantôme.

It was undoubtedly the best, most refined hotel we stayed at during our 4-5 day tour of the Dordogne with our group of friends. Yes, God has blessed us with beautiful nature, but the hoteliers have transformed that natural beauty into more of a home than a hotel. Every luxury you could possibly need is where it supposed to be, in the most elegant way. The staff is exceptionally well-trained, making you feel more like a guest visiting friends than a customer. It's clear they enjoy working at the Moulin de Roc. As for dinner, I'll echo what everyone else has written. It deserves all the praise. In my youth, thanks to my family and later my work, I had the opportunity to see many parts of the world. Le Moulin de Roc will be among the 3-5 hotels I'll not forget. I hope to able to return in the future.

Places like Moulin de Roc touch your heart! Set it the beautiful Dordogne region in a tiny village this gorgeous place is has a warm ambience. It’s unique, historic and 5 star. The service by the staff is excellent, the food Devine and the grounds, picturesque.

This hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens. But there is no elevator and the rooms are up a narrow step staircase. They are dated and have low doorways and there is no daily room service to clean rooms - you must request it. The wifi and TV don’t work well and often cut out. The air conditioning doesn’t work well and the rooms get humid and hot. I don’t recommend staying here. But dinner was delicious in the restaurant - great service, delicious Michelin star food with a lovely view of the gardens and river. I highly recommend it for dinner.

This hotel is fantastic, the setting is beautiful with the mill turning and the river the setting is sublime. The food was excellent we had the fixed menu which was excellent valu If you want something special book this hotel

Tucked away minutes from the charming and under appreciated Brentome is a dreamy 5 star resort that feels like an escape to Middle Earth of Frodo and Sam. It is a place to just sit and let your eye wonder around to all the details that makes this place magical. It was so good, that we didn’t leave for 24 hours and ate breakfast , lunch and dinner on the outside patio overlooking the running brook. It’s 4.8 on most booking sites for a reason. There was just nothing not to love.
