The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort

A beautiful hotel with a Krabi, Thailand vibe. It's nestled between mountains and the sea. The service is great, and the value for money is excellent. The beachfront pool villas are perfect for families with children. You can book longtail boat tours to Hong Island directly at the hotel at a good price. It's very convenient and reassuring.

We initially booked a room on the second floor, but later switched to a pool villa with direct beach access, which was a fantastic experience. The breakfast was exquisite, with small but delicious portions. The spa experience was also great; the kids had a wonderful time playing in the adjacent hot tub and steam room while waiting. We even bought some essential oils to take home. Even though it was cloudy, we still got to see a beautiful sunset. Going out with flashlights to catch small crabs after dark was a truly memorable experience.

Let's start with the positives: The resort is small with a limited number of rooms, and the staff's service is excellent, with great attention to detail. For example, when checking out, they came to help me with my luggage in advance. I had booked a car through Trip.com myself, and when I came out, the staff had already put my luggage in the car I booked. Tubkaek's overall environment is much better than Ao Nang's. The hotel has its own beach, the sunsets are beautiful, it's not crowded, and the beach is relatively clean. Now for the negatives: Since all the hotel rooms are made of wood, the sound insulation isn't great. If there are children upstairs, it can get very noisy, which is why we ended up changing rooms during our stay. The hotel pool is quite small, mostly suitable for kids to splash around, not really for serious swimming. Overall, it was still a good experience.

I absolutely loved the hotel environment. The massage was incredibly relaxing; I kept falling asleep, and the technique was excellent. The breakfast variety changed daily and was always delicious. The staff were also very warm and friendly, always offering to take photos for you, and their photography skills were top-notch. The hotel also offered a good range of activities.

To be frank, it was excellent. This hotel is designed with beautiful gardens, meticulously maintained, with not a single leaf out of place. The staff are incredibly polite. It's very quiet with few Chinese guests, and being outside the city center makes it a perfect retreat. The hotel even has longtail boats for island hopping, though they are a bit pricey. I'd consider it a luxury five-star resort, with only 60 rooms in total. If you love peace, cleanliness, and a sense of luxury, this is the place for you – don't hesitate to book!
