## Environment + Service: The hotel's decor is very distinctive, retaining its original style after renovation, leaving a lasting impression. Inside, there's even Xiamen's first elevator from 1958, which is quite a meaningful experience. Upon entering, a welcoming staff member helps open doors and carry luggage – they're very enthusiastic. The front desk staff are also very pleasant. Many details in the room made my stay very comfortable. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and for someone like me who's used to a Dyson, it's hard to go back to an ordinary one. The toiletries are comprehensive, with a full-sized toothpaste, so no more struggling with tiny ones! There are even hair ties and mouthwash, which is really thoughtful for women, and razors for men, which is convenient. I highly recommend booking an ocean-view room; the scenery is truly breathtaking and uplifting, making for a pleasant stay. Just a left turn downstairs from the hotel, there are tons of food options. The location is excellent, and the price isn't expensive. I also tried the 'Zhu Yan Ji Qipao Travel Photography' experience, and the photos turned out amazing! The photographer was great at directing, making even a socially anxious person like me feel comfortable. He taught poses, and the costumes were all very unique. It's definitely an experience worth trying!

Thanks to Angel for her super thoughtful service! This time I came to Xiamen to visit my grandma, and I was staying with my parents, making us a party of three. We originally booked a Photographer's Balcony Room, but after communicating, our room was upgraded to a suite on the top floor. Although it didn't have a terrace, the space was incredibly large. I really liked the design of the living room and bedroom being separated for quiet and active areas, and there was even a small half-bath in the living room. The hotel was just renovated last year, so the in-room facilities are very new. While the design retains a Nanyang (Southeast Asian) flair, it also incorporates some modern luxury, like the makeup mirror. The suite felt much cozier in person than in the photos. The bathroom was super big, and it was my first time encountering a shower room that also had a sauna facility. The room amenities were very complete, including bath salts and bubble bath mousse. What was quite interesting was the presence of a yoga mat and small dumbbells. Doing some exercises in the room in the morning, facing Gulangyu Island, was truly an enjoyment. Knowing that there were three of us, an extra bed was set up in advance, and all the amenities were provided in sets of three. Very thoughtful. We arrived around 1 PM, but the room wasn't ready yet. I was also with my grandma, who wasn't checking in but had heard good things and wanted to visit. I'm very grateful to the front desk team and Angel. I hadn't made an appointment to tour the hotel, and I saw that tours only started at 2:30 PM. I was debating whether it would be too hot to wander around Zhongshan Road in the middle of the day or too boring to just wait in the hotel when Angel welcomed us. She gave our group of five a very comprehensive historical introduction to the entire hotel and even specifically took us to see the terrace room type, accompanying us for a full hour. Afterward, it was正好 (just in time) for afternoon tea, and she treated us to afternoon tea for five. After finishing tea, we went back to our room. It truly gave our family a perfect and very pleasant check-in experience. Thank you very much. We had dim sum for dinner at the 7th-floor restaurant, and breakfast was also on the 7th floor. The food was excellent, and the service was good. As an established hotel, Xiamen Lujiang Harbourview Hotel, with its excellent location, can still maintain such facilities, environment, and service. It's a must-visit when in Xiamen; the trip was truly worthwhile. I look forward to staying again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The location is convenient; you can walk to the Eight-City market and Zhongshan Road Old Town. Sitting on the balcony at night is incredibly comfortable, and the night view is fantastic. A big thanks to Angel at the front desk for upgrading my room! The room was very clean, and the bathroom was high-spec with Noritz amenities and a Dyson hairdryer.

The Lujiang Hotel is famous and has an excellent location. Downstairs is a pedestrian street, and it's superb for dining and sightseeing. The room orientation is also good. The breakfast is a bit monotonous, with no fried eggs or orange juice! The afternoon tea basically has nothing to eat! Orange juice is a basic item for breakfast, isn't it?

This established landmark truly has a unique charm, with its old tiles and retro corridors, every corner holds a story. The balcony directly faces Gulangyu Island, and the sunset over the 'orange sea' in the evening is truly soothing. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Xie, provided excellent service. It's convenient for getting around, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. For a trip to Xiamen, this is definitely the hotel to book.

I loved this historic yet boutique hotel. It has a strong Nanyang style, and the balcony facing Gulangyu offers a stunning night view. The hotel breakfast was exquisite, I was pleasantly surprised to find bird's nest and shark fin soup. They also decorated the room for my birthday and sent a cake, which I really appreciate. The 'Zhu Yan Ji' travel photoshoot service at the hotel was excellent; big thanks to the photographer and the makeup artist! 🍗

The best part about the sea-view rooms at Lujiang Hotel is that you don't even have to get out of bed to take in the full view of Gulangyu Island. From your pillow, you can see the lush greenery of Gulangyu in the distance, with red-brick villas peeking through the trees. It’s easy to imagine the island's gentle elegance from a century ago. In that moment of gazing, time itself seems to slow down.

The room had a Nanyang-inspired feel. Although the hotel has been open for over forty years, the interior decor, furnishings, and amenities are all very new, with no sense of being outdated at all. We arrived a bit early, but the front desk didn't hesitate and arranged our room immediately. The room was incredibly spacious, and the balcony and windows offered direct views of Gulangyu Island and the sea – truly a prime sea view. (It was especially comfortable working overtime there while listening to the sound of the waves). Every evening, there was a stewed dish, delicious and light. Breakfast is a must-have, especially the made-to-order dim sum items; you'll want to keep ordering and eating them. The location is excellent, very close to Gulangyu, Zhongshan Road, and Xiamen University. It's rare to find a hotel with such a great location and excellent hardware and software – it's uncommon even across the country. I'll definitely be booking here every time I come to Xiamen from now on.
