Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen

Although it's not a newly opened hotel, the staff service quality, executive lounge dining, and overall stay experience were fantastic. It left a deep and wonderful impression on our 7-day, 6-night trip to Shenzhen. There is a Ping An Mall and Coco Park right next to the hotel, and taking the high-speed rail is very convenient, making a day trip to Hong Kong a breeze. I will definitely choose the Four Seasons again next time!

The Four Seasons consistently delivers a comfortable experience. The outdoor pool has open-air showers, which are indeed quite pleasant under the frangipani trees. The bedding is as comfortable as ever, and the price was excellent during the holiday period. There was even live piano music.

During the National Day holiday, there were very few guests, and the hotel felt deserted. Despite so few people, the room rate was over 2,000 yuan per night, which was quite disappointing this time. The room was already very old, the toiletries had been downgraded significantly, and the drinking water was replaced with ordinary bottled water. The turndown service in the executive room was perfunctory – just placing a bottle of water and a towel on the floor. The Executive Lounge's happy hour used to offer a rich and varied selection of dishes, but this time there wasn't even a single piece of meat, and the variety was pitifully small. A room with such an Executive Lounge is not worth this price. I hope they will reasonably adjust the prices and upgrade the interiors. The only redeeming quality is that the staff service at Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen was, as always, very thoughtful. Excluding the environment and price, this aspect was excellent.

Honestly, there's really nothing to fault, except for the four bizarre characters on the side—they are terribly ugly, and I wonder if anything can be done about them. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of options. Highly recommended!

In this day and age, receiving a handwritten thank-you note is truly rare and special. We were greeted with welcome fruits, and when we asked for two bottles of water, we received a whole bag of eight – truly excellent service! At night, you can directly see half of the light show.

Having stayed at a few Four Seasons hotels, this one in Shenzhen didn't quite meet the brand standards I've come to expect. It's definitely an older hotel; nearly all the countertops and table edges in the room were uneven. The only place to find tissue paper in the entire room was by the sink, and the mirror was quite oxidized and blackened. There were no welcome fruits either. These aren't huge issues, but the main problem was cleanliness. On the cabinet wall next to the hangers, there was a large area of a sticky substance, like unremoved glue. Inside the wardrobe, you could feel a noticeable grittiness, like un-wiped dust, which made me hesitant to hang my intimate apparel. The spout of the kettle for boiling water was already green... These kinds of issues just shouldn't be present in a Four Seasons hotel. On the positive side, the front desk service was very warm and friendly, and the buffet environment was excellent. I hope the hotel considers a renovation.

Family-friendly, thoughtful and attentive. Traveling with kids, the hotel provided special key cards for children, which was both safe and fun. They also offered kids' toiletries for showering. It made things easy for parents and fun for the kids. We'll definitely come back next time!

I stayed at the refurbished Ritz-Carlton across the street for five days before moving to the Four Seasons. Although the front desk staff were efficient and provided good service, the room felt old and had a musty smell upon entering. The air purifier didn't seem to help much. The hairdryer was also an old model, leaving my hair frizzy the next day – remember to use extra conditioner! At night, the soundproofing wasn't great; I could still hear cars from the street and other noises. Overall, the hardware and facilities felt lacking in many areas. I hope they can renovate soon, just like the Ritz.

I want to thank the hotel staff for resolving my luggage issue. It was my birthday the day before arrival, and they surprised me with a cake in my room, which was a lovely touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathtub offered panoramic views. I just love Four Seasons. It was a very comfortable stay.
