It was priced well (going through trip.com was half the price of booking direct...AND the hotel told me NOT to book through another company as they might not honor the Rez!?!?!?!?) It is an old tired lady. The bathroom was disgusting....The shower clogged with hair and didnt drain. the bed was lumpy and the heat was either a blast or not at all so I chose not at all. Took about 20 minuets to get the room heated up. Felt like a cheap hotel 6. That said, all the newer hotels are twice the price. For a quick overnight it was fine

The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good. There are churches and other places to go around. It is within walking distance of the railway station and supermarket. There are also restaurants nearby, and it is not far from New Haven and New York.

We got in late evening - tired so had dinner in the lounge - it was very good - fast and friendly staff. Very personable and made us feel very comfortable. Room was clean and perfect for our needs - staying one night.

Elevator was not working our intire trip. When checking in I asked about two areas near and dear to me. The first: Recycling - I was told the told the hotel had recycling for their own needs but not for the guests. Second: No secure internet - with hacking coming from all different directions, it is important for me to protect my information from unwanted sources, but I couldn't do that with the presnet WI-FI available!
