The hotel was close to tourist attractions, and you could really tell they put a lot of thought into the traditional interior design. I thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs, and the staff were incredibly friendly. They even spoke Korean, which made my stay very comfortable.

This ryokan offers a wonderfully quiet environment, though it is situated not far away from the main street to enjoy a peaceful stay. The room was extremely clean, and the level of service was exceptional throughout our visit. The male staff took the time to introduce the onsen facilities to us while another carried our belongings up to the room. As we entered the room, the futons were already prepared for us with complimentary tea and snacks since we checked in the late afternoon. During breakfast, the staff took care to explain the menu and prepare fresh tea for us. Everyone made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we checked in until they warmly saw us off at checkout. One of the best highlights is that there is no need to make a reservation for the private onsen, as it operates on a convenient first-come, first-served basis. This stay truly exceeded our expectations!

Great! The night before, I told them I wasn't good with fish, and the next morning they thoughtfully changed my meal to something else. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It wasn't crowded either. The private hot spring was absolutely divine! Overall, I give it a solid thumbs-up. My verdict: See you next time!

Superb location right in the middle of Yufuin main shopping street. Enjoyed the ryokan room with in-room onsen bathtub and the skincare and haircare set provided. Only improvement needed is the dinner and breakfast meal and this ryokan would be the best choice!
