Staying at J Hotel in Shanghai Tower, I experienced luxury in the clouds. Briefly enjoying everything here, I'm just a transient visitor. Looking at the bustling Shanghai below, I secretly reminded myself: right now, I'm just here to broaden my horizons; I can't keep envying others. To confidently and leisurely enjoy such a life in the future, I can only rely on my own hard work. Time to get serious and strive diligently for the life I want. Although J Hotel's reputation is polarized, I hope everyone can give domestic luxury brands more tolerance and room to grow. It's only been a little over 70 years since the founding of New China, yet we're competing with the whole world. Many industries are just starting, so it's natural to imitate, learn from, and integrate, ultimately developing their own unique advantages. Patriotism doesn't mean being blindly nationalistic; we need to view things rationally.

After comparing several high-end hotels in Lujiazui, I ultimately chose J Hotel. My entire stay was flawless, from the moment I arrived with the concierge to the farewell at check-out. The butler, Raine, was incredibly attentive to every detail. In the morning, I enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the Italian restaurant on the 101st floor. It offered a full selection of Chinese and Western dishes, and the freshly squeezed juices and Western pastries were excellent. I loved dining while overlooking the Lujiazui green spaces. As a top-tier homegrown luxury hotel, it completely surpasses international brands. The experience was absolutely perfect.

Our butler, Raine, provided personalized and prompt service, demonstrating a high standard from check-in to check-out. The service felt warm and genuine, not forced. This place is perfect for family trips with children or for travel enthusiasts looking to tick off their travel list. It's truly a source of pride for a domestic brand, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel pretty much goes all out with its amenities; it's stacked with luxurious hotel hardware. The breakfast here is the biggest plus – it truly blows away hotels of similar caliber. For the night view, I highly recommend getting a room with a view; my room didn't have a Bund view. Remember to turn off the lights at night, otherwise, you'll only see reflections of the bed. I was really surprised that the hotel was full of foreigners, hardly any Chinese people. The in-room iPad control system is better than many overseas hotels. The butler service response time is very fast, truly fast. Here, you can also have a 'million-dollar exit' experience similar to Bulgari when checking out. I'm serious.

While hotels may vary in their hardware facilities, it's the service, like Eve's, that truly captures one's heart. Room 120 is a must-go; the extra-large floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Huangpu River night view into a flowing painting, with the soft glow of the Oriental Pearl Tower twinkling outside the window. The check-out process was also smooth – a benchmark for luxury hotels.
