Welcome to The Lodge at Gulf State Park, a Hilton Hotel, a unique destination located on Alabama’s Gulf Coast and part of the Gulf State Park. Our location offers all the perks of a beachfront location as well as a host of park amenities such as hiking and biking trails, a 900-acre fishing lake, nature center and outdoor classroom, interpretive center, tennis, kayaking, paddleboards, geocaching, guided nature walks, birding, and several playgrounds.
Choose from a guest room or suite with beach or park views, each with a spacious tub or shower and 50-inch TV. Our suites feature a private balcony, some with bunk beds to better accommodate the entire family.
Dine in or outdoors while enjoying beautiful gulf views from our onsite restaurants. Room service is available 6am – 12am daily, or relax in our Lobby coffee and wine bar overlooking the beach.
Everything you need is right here. Exercise in our fitness center, or take a dip in the infinity pool. Our business center is available daily, and the convenience shop is always open. Choose from 40,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, including the largest ballroom on the Gulf Coast with a beach view.

All in all, was very satisfied with all amenities and pleasantly surprised by the weather which looked foreboding at times but cleared out. The only negative was the parking which is in a remote location and I believe charged daily for use, oh well, can't have it all. The beach, pool, pier and food made it worth it. Will visit again.

The beds were like sleeping on concrete, it was very noisy from the hallway and from the balconies also the pallet wall obscured the view

This location was perfect. Just outside of the hustle and bustle. Clean beach, friendly staff. I will be be back, and ill recommend it to all my traveling friends!!

The property was cute but checkin was not easy. There are suprise fees you are not told when you book that you are required to pay when you check in. The person the check my husband and i in was condescending and rude when i tried to explain we weren't informed about the extra fees. Instead of being kind and understanding about it, the staff member talked over us and didnt offer any assistance for the situation. We were then taken us by a bellman who told us we were informed by the front person where certain things were and when i said she had not, he told me she had even though he was not there for any of our interaction. We were then put in a room right in front of construction which was quite unpleasant and loud. The construction was right next to the only pool so that kinda took away from the peaceful atmosphere as well. Had any of this information (extra fees, construction, etc) been available prior to booking we definitely would have picked somewhere else to stay. However, this site has a couple restaurants that have really good food and great service! You can eat there even if you are not a guest which I highly recommend. We probably wont stay here again but would return to eat at the restaurants.

This location had everything you need. The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly. We take advantage of the onsite food and drinks. You don’t even have to leave the hotel, it has all you need. My favorite is the back porch area off the main lobby with the amazing ocean view.
