A modern hot spring hotel that truly lives up to its reputation as the number one in the area. Both the hot springs and the food were fantastic. It is the closest hotel to the cable car station. We stayed for two nights; only during the last hour of our first day did we make it to the peak to see the magnificent scenery. The rest of the time, it was cloudy during the day, though we did get to enjoy stunning sunsets around 4 or 5 PM.

Service is gpod, all staff so polite and helpful. Hotel room is very big & comfortable. They provide 2 sets of pyjamas. 1 for sleeping other for onsen or meal. Location very good, at the foot of Mount Asahidake & short walking distance to ropeway

Service there is very good. Glad I managed to drop off my luggage at the counter, did a loop hike at Mt Asahidake. Came back to a fantastic dinner and decent room. Of course these came at a price but it's a good location for those that do a one day hike up Asahidake.

I normally don’t spend this much on hotels but there weren’t other options near the trailhead. But the dinner and breakfast buffet made it so worth it. Absolutely delicious and luxurious.

This newly renovated hotel is very clean and comfortable. Its location right next to the Asahidake Ropeway is super convenient for hikers. The stay includes dinner and breakfast, featuring fresh vegetables, delicious steak, and Japanese dishes that are well above average. The front desk staff were also very friendly.

Room was big and well stocked with amenities - welcome snack (chocolate coated nuts) was fantastic. Onsen was clean and well maintained - more importantly views outside the hotel of Daisetsuzan range was 100/100.

Such a vibe! This hotel is perfect—they have a library with free coffee and tea 24/7. The food is 10/10 for both breakfast and dinner. The rooms are huge and beautifully designed. Plus, they give you two different outfits to wear around the property and a super comfy set of pajamas!
