Yabu Loni Hotel Yabuli

The hotel room facilities are quite old, and the shower uses a water heater. Breakfast is a set menu. There are fewer guests in summer. The complimentary cable car tickets allow you to go up to the mountain top, where the scenery is beautiful. There's a 'Sky Mirror' and 'Five Finger Sacred Tree' on the mountain. It's a five-minute drive from the town. In summer, there are no lights, so you can see a sky full of stars. The road condition after getting off the highway is quite good, smooth all the way, mostly four lanes.

Let's start with the positives: the hotel offers convenient ski-in/ski-out access, and the staff at the ski equipment rental (a few older gentlemen and younger guys) were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. That's where the good things end. Firstly, I have to question the authenticity of Trip.com's star ratings. Giving this hotel a 'luxury' and '5-star' designation seriously lowers my opinion of Trip.com! The rooms weren't cleaned, and there was hardly any service, except for the evening cleaning lady who was very kind and even gave us water. The hotel restaurant is a rip-off! The high prices aren't the issue; the problem is the food is terrible! Not fresh, among other things. If a better hotel opens in Yabuli, this place will really struggle to compete.

I chose this hotel because of its convenient ski-in/ski-out access, and the skiing facilities are excellent. Upon checking in, we received full-day lift tickets and ski passes. With the ski pass, we could rent helmets, ski suits, boards, goggles, and other equipment. There's a KFC downstairs, which is really handy. The only downside is the limited hot water supply. You can't take long showers; after about 15 minutes, you have to wait 40 minutes for the next person to use it.

The hotel is right by the ski slopes, making it super convenient to get around. Every morning, opening the curtains to that stunning snowy view was just breathtaking. The staff were all really enthusiastic, and a special shout-out to Liu Ruxin who checked us in – her attention to detail was exceptional.

The Yabuli Yabuluoni Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the ski resort, offering incredibly convenient ski-in/ski-out access directly to the slopes and lifts. The rooms are clean, warm, and offer expansive views; you can enjoy the snow scenery right from your window. The facilities are comprehensive, with ski rental and dining all available in one spot. The service is enthusiastic and responsive, and it offers great value for money. It's truly the top choice for a ski holiday; we had a comfortable and worry-free stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!

The room was quite good, though the king-size bed was a bit too soft. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the front desk lady was always smiling and patient. It was very convenient for skiing, with ski-in/ski-out access, and the kids had a great time.
