Waterfall Village Resort

Let's start with the positives: The location is incredibly convenient, just across the road from a VIP center. The hotel has a nice design aesthetic; the entrance features photos documenting its development. They offer free Miao ethnic costumes for guests to borrow and take photos (about ten women's costumes are available in the lobby). The batik painting activity, however, is not recommended. Breakfast is decent, meeting four-star hotel standards. There's a welcome fruit plate and complimentary drinks. Now for the issues: 1. They don't offer guest pick-up/drop-off, and the location pin leads to the park entrance. 2. For two adults, they provided one large and one small pillow. When I inquired, the hotel said this was standard and I had to request an additional pillow (photo attached). 3. The room is small, comparable to the smallest room type at Hanting, with everything in plain view (photo attached). 4. The bathroom handle easily came off (photo attached). 5. The air conditioning panel was unresponsive and the room was freezing; the TV remote didn't work, so I couldn't turn off the screen. 6. After boiling water, the kettle lid accidentally fell into the kettle (photo attached). 7. Although there's a pool, it's an unsupervised large trough with only two sun loungers that smelled heavily of smoke. Children were entering the water in slippers, and some without swimwear. Needless to say, the water quality was questionable (photo taken without entering the water).

Butler Service: Butler Xiao Yang provided excellent service. Welcome Fruit: Fresh. A guesthouse converted from an ancient village, quiet and elegant. Very convenient for visiting Huangguoshu Waterfall.

Yaojia Waterfall Village Hotel is located right inside the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Pet-friendly, nice rooms, and a great location just minutes from the waterfalls.

The room isn't huge but it's well-designed and compact, with decor consistent with the hotel's overall style. All the hotel facilities we used were great. The hotel has a courtyard-style layout, making it feel like it's completely integrated into the scenic area. While the breakfast selection isn't vast, the taste and quality are excellent.

The hotel is located within the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk to the entrance of the attractions, which is very convenient. The environment is excellent, and it's quiet at night, ensuring a good rest. The breakfast spread is also quite rich. Butler Xiao Lin provided warm and attentive service. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Excellent location, very close to the waterfall entrance, making it easy to get around. The room was comfortable and clean, and our butler, Xiao Liu, provided incredibly thoughtful service. She informed us of the travel routes and important tips in advance and was warm and responsible. Overall, a great stay experience, highly recommended!

The hardware and software were both outstanding, and Butler Xiao Zhao's service was fantastic! He even recommended nearby attractions for me. One night really isn't enough; ideally, a two-night, three-day stay would allow you to thoroughly explore Huangguoshu. The laundry room and shoe dryer were a great touch – truly made me feel pampered! Breakfast was beautiful and refined, with the option to choose your own fruit and vegetable juice. It would be even better if there were more varieties of eggs!

Fantastic location, incredibly close to Huangguoshu Waterfall – just a 5-minute walk! We were among the first to enter the scenic area in the morning, which was perfect for viewing the main waterfall and getting great photos. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with all the necessary amenities for families. Our butler, Lin Sheng, was very enthusiastic and helpful. Staying here made our hiking trip so much easier. Highly recommend!
