MajesTang Hotel, Chongqing, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I had a fantastic 4-night stay here. This is truly an excellent, upscale, luxurious, and brand-new hotel. The room amenities are complete, and there's absolutely no lingering smell from the renovation. The environment is clean, comfortable, and elegant. All the staff, from top to bottom, are friendly. The breakfast offers a very rich variety, with fresh fruits, freshly squeezed juices, and made-to-order Chongqing noodles with plenty of toppings. The coffee was perfectly to my taste. The hotel entrance is just a one-minute walk from Exit 4A of Xiaoshizi Station on Metro Line 1. At night, you can enjoy Chongqing's most beautiful river view from your room. Xiaoshizi Station is the gateway to Hongyadong and Jiefangbei. A hot bath in the tub before bed was wonderful. In the morning, opening the electric curtains reveals a distant view of the Raffles City towers at Chaotianmen. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing. Superb! 👍

When choosing a hotel in Chongqing, my criteria were: Downtown location + high-rise with a view + opened within the last two years. This high-rise hotel perfectly met all those requirements. Both the soft amenities and hardware facilities made for a very comfortable stay. 🌉 First off, the prime location in the heart of Jiefangbei really seals the deal! The Xiaoshizi subway station is right downstairs, a 30-minute subway ride to Chongqing North Railway Station, and a 20-minute taxi ride to Jiangbei Airport! Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, Raffles City, and the Yangtze River Cableway are all within walking distance! It's truly living right in the city center! After exploring the bustling city, you can quietly relax and admire the mountain city's night view when you're tired, making for a perfect travel experience. 🥃 The lobby is located directly on the 32nd floor! The Tang Dynasty-inspired design is grand yet vintage, showcasing both the romance of the mountain city and Oriental aesthetics! As a newly opened hotel, any public area is great for photos. I particularly loved the terrace area of the lobby bar – a huge bonus! Enjoy coffee in the afternoon and drinks in the evening to chill. For breakfast, they have delicious Chongqing noodles and fried dough sticks with sticky rice cakes! The gym is also open 24 hours! 🛏️ This time, I stayed in an Executive River View King Room! Two consecutive nights were absolutely wonderful! The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the skyline, and it felt so blissful to work or listen to music in front of the 8D magical neon lights. My favorite was the bedside bathtub, where I could soak while overlooking the city lights, instantly washing away all fatigue, haha! The 40㎡+ room was spacious and comfortable, with smart whole-house control. The bedding was soft and comfortable from Sidefu, and the toiletries were PASCAL BITO. 📱 What impressed me the most about this hotel was that there are no room cards, and check-in/check-out, breakfast, and any requests are all managed with a single click through the Kaiyuan Manju's own app. It's truly at the forefront of smart technology and AI! You can use your phone to operate the elevator, request services, and more – super hassle-free! Even food deliveries are personally brought to your room by staff, so the service is very attentive 💯. This is truly how a vacation should be in the foggy mountain city of Chongqing! 🌙 It's absolutely perfect for a stay with your crush!

Straight from the airport to the hotel, the Xiaoshizi subway station is right downstairs, just a few steps from the exit. The reception lobby is on the 1st floor, and you go directly to the 32nd floor for check-in. All rooms are on the upper floors. After dropping off my luggage, I went straight to the window for a moment: the two rivers converge beneath my feet, and the lights of the Yuzhong Peninsula lit up layer by layer. I ran a bath and soaked in the tub by the window, looking out over the city nightscape – if you're lucky, you might even catch a drone show over the river. Several small details in the room particularly impressed me: 🥂 The first round of the Minibar is free. 🛏️ The bedding was surprisingly from Standard Textile, so incredibly comfortable! 🧴 The toiletries were woody-scented PASCAL MORABITO, simple yet tasteful! No need to wake up too early the next day. I first hit the gym on the 29th floor – the MATRIX equipment was sufficient, with both strength and cardio zones. The treadmills faced the skyline, and best of all, it's open 24/7! After my workout, I went downstairs for breakfast. The buffet at Shan Hai Ji Yan had a great variety: both Chinese and Western options. The most amazing part was the freshly made Chongqing noodles, and there were plenty of local snacks too, authentically delicious 😋 The hotel's location is also incredibly convenient: Xiaoshizi subway station is downstairs; Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the Yangtze River Cableway are all within walking distance, and the farthest, Chaotianmen, is only about 1 km away. Getting to Jiangbei Airport, Chongqing North Station, and Chongqing East Station all take less than 30 minutes by car. No need to rush sightseeing; if you get tired, you can easily go back to the hotel to rest before continuing your exploration! If you don't feel like going out, you can also order takeout to the hotel, and the staff will personally deliver it to your door – thoughtful and secure service! The in-room amenities are okay, and the staff's attitude is also passable. There are only 2 elevators in the hotel, and you have to wait at least a minute every time. There are no room keys; you're forced to download an app on your phone to use a digital key. I bought a two-night package that included a photoshoot. I booked it twice, and the app's 'Genie' chatbot said someone would contact me, but absolutely nothing happened. 🙂↔️ The bathroom smelled bad during the day. Didn't try the breakfast as it wasn't included in the package. Also, I requested the welcome gift, but didn't receive it upon check-out either. Who knows what they're doing.

The first stop of our Yangtze River Three Gorges tour was the Grand Metropark Selected Chongqing. Located at the intersection of Chaotianmen, Jiefangbei, and Hongyadong, it offers walkable access to all major attractions, making it extremely convenient. Nearby sites like Luohan Temple and Huguang Guild Hall are also very unique. Surrounded by a bustling commercial district, you can find all kinds of authentic Chongqing local delicacies here. Although the hotel rooms are not large, every detail is well-handled, and the in-room hardware facilities are equally impressive. Highly recommended if you are visiting Chongqing!
