🌅 Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the shimmering lights on the river outside the window—it's truly the perfect spot for a relaxing drink. Hoshinoya's luxury isn't ostentatious; instead, it's evident in every detail, especially their choice of materials and the refined, considerate hospitality, which truly creates an intangible warmth. 🛎️ Speaking of service, the butlers' professionalism was incredibly impressive! From coordinating my itinerary before check-in to the subtly chosen essential oils for a relaxing evening, every detail felt thoughtful. The mini-bar was fully stocked with drinks and snacks, and there was even a comforting sweet soup in the evening—I felt utterly pampered! ❤️ 🛁 What surprised me even more was that the toiletries were Diptyque, which instantly won me over! As soon as I opened them, I could smell that subtle fragrance, and after a shower, I felt completely relaxed. 🍽️ The hotel's restaurants are excellent, with both Chinese and Western options! The Western restaurant, in particular, with its cliffside seating overlooking the rushing Jialing River and Hongyancun Bridge, was absolutely stunning! Plus, the chef is Italian, and the food is superb—not just for guests, but outsiders can dine there too! 😍 🥗 For breakfast, I chose the Chinese Zajiang noodles, and to my surprise, the taste was just as good as a proper noodle shop outside. Even the chili oil was specially blended by the hotel team, showing incredible care! This morning, the salad I had even had a hidden touch of their expertly prepared chili oil—full of delightful surprises. 🌸 What truly touched me was that when I checked in, I selected a fragrance I liked, and upon check-out the next day, I found that the hotel had given me a bottle of that very scent. It was such a thoughtful gesture, making me feel like I was taking a wonderful memory with me. ✨

Before bed, they'd bring a warm drink, a freshly brewed red bean and rice porridge. Sleep masks and face masks were also delivered at a set time. Upon departure, they gifted us a room fragrance in our preferred scent – so thoughtful! You can easily feel the positive energy here. We will definitely be back to stay again. It seems every staff member genuinely loves their job. The human touch and warmth are fantastic; the hospitality and personalized details are abundant. I rarely write reviews, but this thoughtful experience truly deserves to be recognized.

I particularly loved the rooftop restaurant and terrace. The lowered ceiling, combined with the black and wood tones, creates a high-quality yet warm dining atmosphere. At night, the twinkling lights from across the river, despite being in the city center, offer a remarkably quiet and secluded urban retreat – a true 'hidden gem in the bustling city' experience. From parking to reception, introductions, and the restaurant, all services were polite, clear, and made us feel relaxed and welcome. It's a slight pity we didn't use the pool due to the colder weather, but the infinity pool looked stunning illuminated at night. The in-room bathing experience was also delightful, and the 'blind box' bath salts added a fun, surprising touch. Most importantly, the steak at the restaurant is truly delicious. While not inexpensive, the quality makes it excellent value for money. Breakfast was also extremely generous, with every dish prepared with care. The Italian head chef is not only a culinary master but also has a cheerful personality, and his homemade cocktails were a delightful surprise – definitely worth experiencing.

This newly opened hotel, nestled halfway up the mountain next to Hong'en Temple, has only 22 rooms. It's as quiet as a secluded Song-style courtyard. You can walk to Hong'en Temple and the former site of the Foreign Gun Bureau. The moment you step in, you're greeted by elegant Chinese aesthetics. The lobby, corridors, and tea room are all meticulously arranged. The room I stayed in this time was a spacious two-story suite, primarily furnished with solid wood. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic views, framing the river and city lights like a painting. Top-notch amenities: · TOTO smart toilet · Grohe showerhead · Dyson hairdryer · Diptyque toiletries The mini-bar is incredibly well-stocked: drinks, beer, and Chongqing specialty snacks, all complimentary. After returning from dinner: · Turndown service was already done. · A bowl of warm sweet soup for bedtime was placed on the table. · Steam eye masks and face masks were on the nightstand. · I could also choose an essential oil diffuser, with a subtle scent lingering by the pillow as I fell asleep. When I checked out the next day, that same fragrance was packaged as a souvenir for me. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served in the Western restaurant on the 5th floor, built cliffside, offering panoramic views of the Jialing River and Hongyan Village Bridge. Overall, it's definitely worth experiencing.
