Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort

The resort was nice, love the room, bathtub & facilities. But if you are sensitive & prone to mosquitoes bites, don’t book this hotel. As I was eaten alive at the 2 restaurants during my meals, or just cosy by the pool. And I can’t open my balcony door to go out & walk by the rice paddy fields (which is the reasons why I booked this resort), & go for a walk. Every morning when I open my curtains to catch the sunrise, so many mosquitoes are just flying around at the glass door, waiting to come in! If you dont like vegetables (similar like me), don’t book this resort too. I didn’t know they only served vegans, no meat, seafood! 😭

I had a very unpleasant stay at Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort. Multiple serious issues greatly ruined my trip. There were many insects and ants found on the bed. Mosquitoes were everywhere inside the room at night. The sound insulation was extremely poor; noise could be clearly heard from surrounding areas. In addition, the air‑conditioner kept leaking water. The dripping sound lasted the whole night, making it impossible for me to fall asleep. The water quality was of major concern. Right after taking a shower in the hotel, I developed an immediate skin allergic reaction all over my body, with severe itching in intimate areas. Because of my physical discomfort caused by bathing water, I requested extra bottled drinking water from the hotel. However, hotel staff informed me that only six complimentary bottles were allowed per day, and I would need to pay for any additional bottles. I escalated this matter to the resort manager, who later waived the extra water charges for me. Even so, my overall experience remained extremely negative. Considering insect problems, noisy environment, faulty air‑conditioning, problematic water quality and rigid service policy for drinking water, I do not recommend this resort.

A/C in the room is not sufficient for the size of the room (pool villa garden view) (mode:cool, temp:18, fan: max) (all doors and windows closed). Other than that, all was excellent. Ever helpful staff were exceptional. Second pool and second restaurant was not ready yet. Staffers’ english proficiency very high.

I had an amazing time staying at this stunning resort that combines beauty and tranquility! Nestled just 15 minutes from the bustling city center, this hidden gem offers breathtaking views of lush rice fields. Yummy vegan food as well!
