Eurostars Hotel de la Reconquista

This hotel is absolutely beautiful with a very interesting history. The entrance is elegant and it feels both grand and classy. The staff are courteous, professional and friendly, they always make you feel welcome. The room is very spacious, the closets are well designed with plenty of space for longer stays. The room was clean; however, the only thing is that the rug needs a heavy cleaning. The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood, walkable to stores, restaurants and other interesting places. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family & friends. We will be back.

we got there November 8 and the temperature in the room was more less normal, the following night the temperature rose to 23 C , it was very warm for us and we weren't able to lower the ac from the room , we went to the front desk to ask and we were told that nothing could be done, that the hotel was at the moment in winter mode and no way to lower the temperature in our room, even though the hotel common areas had ac, besides that they told us to open the door, (we didn't have any windows) and that door opens to a common area as well, so basically sleep outside, because we kept complaining they gave a fan to put in our room and because the fan was short we had to use a table. We know that even with a winter mode and with low temperature outside we have the right to have at least 19 C in our room which is the lowest of winter mode, our stay in there was horrible, we weren't able to sleep at all. Amazing historical hotel a few minutes from the cathedral. Very unique experience to stay here. Would highly recommend.

Front desk staff inefficient-watched me, an 82 year old man drag our luggage up 5-6 steps from driveway to check in. 2 staff at desk, no traffic at counter. Room service was awful.
