Ascott Embassy Sathorn Bangkok

Excellent hotel! It's 15 mins walk to the nearest bts train station (Sala Deng) but the hotel provides shuttle bus service every hour to Dusit Central Park which is right next to the bts. Though it's a bit far from the bts, the hotel is surrounded by fabulous restaurants, like Mimosa Italian Mediterranean Restaurant and the reputable thai restaurant called Baan Khanitha & Gallery. The breakfast at the hotel provides a good variety of western food. You can order eggs the way you like it to your table. The highlight was the spaciousness and cleaniness of each of the rooms, especially the 2 bedroom suite. Everyone enjoyed swimming at the pool, which wasn't too crowded. Perfect for families! Always fan of Ascott, extremely hospitality and really nice breakfast buffet on the morning, privilege for business person relaxing in the BKK but also comfortable for family&kids to spend the whole day in the hotel. If there is a shortcoming need point out, it must be the poor traffic conditions and facilities at the hotel entrance are inconvenient for those arriving in BKK by light rail, as they have to detour via an overpass to cross the busy and crowded main road in front of the hotel.
