Pros: - Staff was friendly and hospitable for the most part - Room was clean and bed was super comfy, like a cloud - Spa area was very relaxing, and spa service was great (massage) - Pools were nice, especially outdoor hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool and lounge area Cons: - Food was awful. Breakfast and lunch were especially egregious, with things being poorly cooked, completely unseasoned, etc. There is a clear emphasis on making things vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/nut free/etc, as if they think this equates to things being healthy. Things can have meat, and be healthy, and things can be vegetarian, and still taste good. They made bizarre flavor combinations that ruined dishes (e.g. perfectly cooked carrots covered in a gross sour sauce, nicely fried chickpea squares served with the worst bitter/sour green sauce we had ever had, etc). It was insane how many things were gross. Options were also limited outside of dinner, and their "24/7 grab and go" section was only stocked once at the beginning of the day, so they might say 24/7 but it was empty by 6pm... so, we were left without anything to eat after dinner hours. There was also not enough room in the dining area for all the guests, so we had to wait to sit for lunch or told to get takeout... how is that okay? - Almost no classes/activities were included, despite the $1,000+/night price tag. Even the most random "align your chakras" classroom activity was $100+. Like huh!? I cannot believe people are paying for this stuff. And while spa service was great, it was no better than any other reputable massage place, while costing twice the price ($240 for 50 mins!). - The grounds were uninspiring, looking the same as your average Hilton or similar. It kind of gave "a cure for wellness" vibes, a little unsettling and austere. Definitely not an expensive looking place. We left early because we did not want to suffer through another meal here and there was nothing else to do that did not cost hundreds of dollars extra. I will certainly not be coming back, but if you are super rich and enjoy just lazing around or don't mind blowing money on the classes, it could be a good vibe for some people.
