Supurb location. Near the church and many famous resturant. Other attractions also in the walking distance. The owner is very helpful. We arrived hotel 6 am and the owner let us left the lugguages in the 1st floor and used the restroom. The hostel customer will get discount for the spa on 1st floor too. Recommend👍

Great location, right in the heart of the old town with plenty of restaurants nearby, and not too far from the main attractions. However, for some reason, I haven't been sleeping well these past few days; it takes me an hour to fall asleep once I'm in bed.

And thru out the stay I have the best view from my balcony although is abit high floor . Just to take note there’s no escalator but host will help you with the luaggage. Thank you Henry . Even though there's no elevator, the room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with AC, hot water, a hairdryer, and a window for ventilation. After check-out, I could store my luggage until the afternoon. The host was incredibly kind and communicated with me via WeChat. He even helped me carry my suitcase upstairs. When I had trouble buying tickets, he helped me look them up. The St. Joseph's Cathedral is only 300 meters away, and both the Water Puppet Theatre and Hoan Kiem Lake are within a 10-minute walk. It's also very close to the popular Michelin-starred Phở restaurant and about 1.2 kilometers from Train Street, which is also walkable. It's also near Hanoi Railway Station. It's super convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The host runs a bar on the ground floor. If any of my friends come to Hanoi, I would definitely recommend this place to them.

Really loved the hotel's balcony! It's a shame we only stayed one night due to other plans. There's a bar on the ground floor, and while our room was on the second floor, I honestly didn't find it noisy at all – it actually had a nice vibe. The guesthouse owner was super thoughtful and helped us carry our luggage up to the second floor upon check-in. Plus, it's right behind St. Joseph's Cathedral in Hanoi!

I stayed here for 3 nights and on the whole I liked this stay. The room was clean, big and there was no noise at all. In Hanoi it all depends on where are you staying - this place is cozy, not so busy as the old town and still there are many places with food and coffee. The St Joseph Cathedral is in a minute walk. The only problem was water in the bathroom, which dropped down from the sink. The hotel itself is cute, it has a bar on the 1st floor and the stuff is friendly. I would stay here again I wo

We had an amazing stay at Skylux Hanoi Homestay and cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was top-notch—a huge shoutout to Henry, who was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home with great local tips. The highlight of our arrival was finding out we’ve been upgraded from a superior queen room to a deluxe suite by the owner himself!! The suite was incredibly spacious, spotless, and very functional. I especially loved having a balcony; watching the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter from above was a real highlight of my trip. The location is also unbeatable. It’s right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and St. Joseph’s Cathedral, meaning everything I wanted to see was right on my doorstep. Downstairs, there’s a really cool cocktail bar with a great vibe (and a very cute resident corgi!) which was the perfect spot to unwind after exploring. If you’re looking for a place that is affordable, clean, and feels like a home away from home in Hanoi, this is it. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

The hotel is located on a narrow street where taxis can't go. The upside: no noise from cars or crowds. The downside: you have to walk with heavy luggage. There's a balcony, but no chairs. It overlooks a narrow street, which feels authentic. I liked it. The ceilings are high. Everything looks just like the photos. There's a fridge and a hairdryer, but no mirror in the room. There were no toiletries. The toilet was dirty. The bed linen was synthetic, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. Overall, the location is central, close to the old quarter. When we arrived to check in, we had trouble reaching the hotel representative; the number provided didn't work. However, our later interactions with the hotel representative were pleasant.

Our trip led us to Room 303, nestled in a quiet alley next to the cathedral. It's a peaceful spot within the old town, very quiet at night. The entrance is inside the Twins Bar, so if you need the front desk, just speak to the bar staff. They'll even help you with your luggage to your room. If you fancy a drink in the evening, you can simply head downstairs – no need to find another place. The room itself is a renovated old building. The window looks out onto the back alley's tin roofs, and plenty of natural light comes in. All the amenities are provided. The bed is a bit low and on the softer side, which might be something to note if you prefer a firmer mattress. Overall, it's good; however, the trash can and toilet paper are both kept in the bathroom, so you have to go in there to dispose of any rubbish. The shower drainage isn't great, leading to standing water during a shower that takes a while to clear, and there were also small drain flies in the room. Overall, for the price, it's very good value for money. The location in the old town is extremely convenient, with plenty of options for food, massages, and bars at night. It's also quiet and not noisy in the evenings. Definitely worth considering.
