The Westin Pasadena

The location and hotel facilities are good. However, I didn't experience much service.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Westin Pasadena this time! The hotel is in a great location, with convenient surrounding restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the view was great. The front desk and service staff were very friendly, and check-in and check-out were smooth. The overall environment was quiet and relaxing, and the service was meticulous and thoughtful. It was a very pleasant stay experience, highly recommended!

The hygiene was appalling. The hotel was incredibly stingy; more than half the towels were yellow with strange colored patches that I couldn't identify. They were dirtier than foot bindings, and I'm not exaggerating. Don't be too harsh on this hotel; just throw them away! The pillows were the same, with colored patches that looked like bloodstains. The room was small and old; no one cleaned it during my two-night stay. The hotel housekeeper didn't speak or understand English. The location is excellent, a two-minute walk to City Hall and 13 minutes to downtown.

The room was old, the showerhead in the bathroom was very worn, and the bed sheets were a real pain – thankfully I brought my own. However, they basically won't bother you unless you tell the front desk to change the sheets… There were two days when no one came to clean at all; when I called the front desk, they said they were too busy… Check-in tips: Bring your own bed sheets/slippers/toothpaste/comb/disposable towels. Room service is not available in the afternoon. Be sure to call the front desk anytime to let them know your needs!

The cleanliness needs to be improved.

The hotel is a bit old but the location is good, just a short walk to the old street and the town hall.
