Ocloud Hotel Gangnam

This is a hotel I frequently stay at, and it offers great value for money overall. It's perfect for shopping or getting cosmetic treatments in Gangnam. There are also plenty of great food options nearby; I highly recommend Pro Soy Crab in Sinsa.

The location is super convenient! There's a convenience store downstairs and you can easily order takeout. The subway station is just a 3-minute walk away. The front desk can store your luggage, and they even lent me an umbrella when it rained, which was really nice. I'll definitely book here again next time!

I randomly picked this hotel when I went to KSPO for a concert, and it was a delightful surprise! First off, the location is superb. It's in Gangnam, near Sinnonhyeon Station on Line 9. It's just a 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel, making it super convenient for getting to the airport and the venue. You can even catch the express train. Secondly, the area around the hotel is very lively. There's a convenience store and coffee shop downstairs, and all sorts of delicious food options are within walking distance. I booked a family room with two beds this time. For a small country like Korea, where space is at a premium, the room was surprisingly spacious. The website mentioned a 1.3m + 0.8m bed, but the larger bed felt big enough for two people. There's also a sofa lounge area. The front desk staff spoke English, so checking in and communicating was a breeze. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I come for a concert!

I stayed here while attending a concert at KSPO Dome, and it was quite convenient, about a 30-minute subway ride away. There are many convenience stores nearby, and two fairly large OY stores aren't too far either. The front desk staff were all very nice during check-in, and the process was quick. However, I probably won't choose this place again. I encountered so many issues: the security chain on the room door was broken, the cabinet door for the microwave and fridge was incredibly difficult to open, the shower door didn't close properly, and one side of the bed didn't have a nightstand. Plus, neither nightstand had a charging outlet. While these things could be overlooked, what I couldn't accept was finding stains on the bed sheets when I was getting ready for bed. I don't even want to think about whether they weren't changed or not cleaned properly. I had to ask housekeeping to change them the next day.

First off, the location is truly excellent. It's right by Exit 9 of Sinnonhyeon Station on Line 9, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There are also other subway lines at the same station, and the airport bus stops here too. There's an OY right next door and a CU convenience store, though getting to Myeongdong might be a tiny bit more of a hassle. The room is quite spacious and even has a microwave. Overall, it's a good spot!
