The Central Hongdae

The room environment was great and the service was excellent. When I was leaving, since there was no elevator, the staff even helped me carry my luggage down to the first floor. It's also quite close to the subway station. It's very convenient from Hongdae Station Exit 9 (there's no elevator, you could use Exit 4 but it's a few minutes' walk, not as convenient as Exit 9). After exiting Exit 9, you just walk straight, cross the road, and it's about 50 meters. There's a convenience store downstairs. My only dissatisfaction was that the room next door was very noisy that night, and they were still on the phone trying to resolve something until 4 AM. I hope this can be improved in the future. If I come back, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. There are milk, bread, coffee, fruit, and other items available in the common area for self-service, which is really nice. Also, you need to bring your own toiletries. The room space is very generous; even with two suitcases open, there's still plenty of room.

This hotel is conveniently located. About 200 meters ahead, to the left of the main entrance, is the Kyochon Chicken and Baeknyeon Samgyetang (100-year ginseng chicken soup) restaurants. To the right is the Hongdae shopping district. The hotel's cleanliness and lighting are exactly as shown in the photos – very bright. The bed is also very comfortable, and the air conditioning is nice and cold. There's a self-service bar available for use. If you encounter any issues, you can email the hotel, and a staff member will come to assist you. Speaking of issues, the staff were very helpful and came to help when needed. For trash, they have a dedicated room where we can sort and dispose of our rubbish, so we don't have to leave it on the street. Finally, since we had a lot of luggage, a staff member even helped us carry it downstairs. We're very grateful for their assistance. We would definitely choose this hotel again next time because it's just so convenient.

The location is great, but upon check-in, I found a used towel from the previous guest in the bathroom. Outside the room, there are some common areas, including a small living room, a kitchenette, and a washing machine, along with some simple toast, cookies, and coffee. However, the rooms are very close to each other, so I was worried about disturbing the next-door guests. I met a few foreign travelers during my stay. Overall, it was decent, and the price was quite good. I'd consider staying here again on my next trip.

Pros: The location is convenient, right in the heart of Hongdae, and just a 5-10 minute walk from the subway station. The room was clean and tidy, and they even provided snacks. Cons: The bathroom in the room was a bit small and didn't have a separate shower area (wet/dry separation). There was a slight odor from the drain on the floor that needs attention.

The hotel is quite small and located on the 3rd floor, so you have to take the stairs. The room was exactly as pictured, and in the common area, there was a free laundry center and some complimentary snacks. It was a very pleasant stay. It's also very close to the bar area.
