We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a driving tour in spain. The hotel is in a beautiful setting right on the beach and has steps leading down from the back of the hotel to the beach itself. The public areas are quite attractive and comfortable to sit in. The rooms do need attention though. They are clean but a bit tired, especially the bathroom which needs the grout sealent replacing on the bath. The entire room could do with an update. Likewise the gym. I appreciate that it suffers from humidity problems given that is right on the beachside, but the small air conditioning unit is not up to the job and the free weights were rusty. The hotel staff need a bit of re training in customer service. Bar staff are friendly and approachable but restaurant staff can be a bit 'off' if they cannot understand requests given in english very easily. Once again appreciate that the area is probably not heavily populated with english tourists and communication is not always going to be seemless, but we had issues with communication both nights and staff seemed to be a bit disinterested in helping us with menu choices. Overall I would say this is a nice hotel, but feel it does need a bit of an room decor update and also to work on communication with the guests.
