This hotel was a surprising find in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. It’s within walking distance of many restaurants, Train Street, Hoàn Kiếm Lake and several other attractions. I chose it because of the cleanliness of the rooms, and I was pleased to find a large and comfortable bed. Although my room didn’t have a balcony, it did have a window, and the bathroom smelled fresh and pleasant. Unfortunately, the service let the hotel down. It rained overnight, and I woke up to water pouring through the ceiling light fittings directly onto my pillows and my open suitcase. I used towels to try to contain the leak and called reception asking for someone to bring something to collect the water, but no one responded. I ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed to avoid getting soaked. About two hours later, I was woken again by loud shouting outside my room while the housekeeping staff were cleaning other rooms. When I called reception, there was no apology for the leaking ceiling, nor did anyone attempt to find a solution or move me to another room. Thankfully, I only needed to stay for one night before travelling to Hoi An, but the way this situation was handled left a very poor impression. After having my sleep interrupted several times during the night, I was so exhausted that I ended up skipping breakfast altogether.

Though the hotel is located on a very busy street, once you enter the reception area it is remarkably quiet. The decor is divine and thoughtfully executed. I absolutely loved my room; the classical yet modern design and the high quality of the furnishings made it one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in. The cleanliness of my room was to a very high standard also. Additionally, it was very quiet, and I enjoyed a great night's sleep. However, the breakfast experience was a bit of a letdown. The food on offer was fantastic, but the loud atmosphere kind of ruined it for me. The restaurant is quite small, so the seating is limited and the tables are positioned very close together; I unfortunately had an incredibly loud family sitting behind me, which while not the hotel's fault did impact my meal. Furthermore, I noticed that the staff were generally quite loud when communicating with each other, whether at reception, in housekeeping, or in the restaurant. For a 4-star hotel, I would expect a more professional level of conduct. Additionally, upon checking out, I received no assistance with my suitcase into my taxi. Overall, it was a fantastic room and a great breakfast, but the staff conduct and service could certainly improve to make the experience more pleasant.

The room was clean and tidy, and the decor was lovely. Breakfast on the 9th floor had a charming, somewhat bohemian vibe with great views, and the rooftop terrace looked quite unique.

The room facilities were decent, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I highly recommend Xiaoyan Glutinous Rice! Thumbs up! It's also just a 5-minute walk from the ancient city. A good accommodation choice.

The hotel is located right at an entrance to the Old Quarter, which makes it more convenient for getting around than hotels deeper inside. The hotel entrance is a bit narrow. The young man who checked us in was super friendly and patiently gave us directions. The room wasn't huge but it was clean. Breakfast had a limited variety, but they did have pho. The slightly plump male chef was fantastic; he proactively asked for our orders and even enthusiastically helped pour juice and coffee for us. His service was consistently excellent and always with a smile – he definitely deserves a raise! 👌 When we checked out, the manager in the white shirt had a bit of a poker face and his attitude was just okay. It's right next to the bar street, but the soundproofing on the windows is amazing; despite the noise outside, it was completely quiet in the room. It's also just a few steps from the famous egg coffee shop. Overall, it offers good value for money and is suitable for tourists.

We love staying at this hotel. It's near to e blue butterfly cooking sch. 2 min walk..nice room and breakfast spread. Quite sleep too. There is a super nice salty coffee, turn right at the hotel entrance walk a few doors down.. right next is a rice grain shop that sells ST25 rice. Left next to hotel, is a super nice ramen store. Tour pickup can come even on weekend. Wantan mee on the left hand road side. Xoi yen is right side opposite. 2 Laundry shop ust behind e hotel.

The room was big and bathroom was clean. They provided most of the amenities listed and best part is that there's free breakfast (if you get that option). Facilities wise; they have a rooftop seating area which is nice. Service was good too; friendly and kind staff. Overall, will book this hotel again if I ever go back.

We were very impressed with Q Boutique. The staff were fantastic and the buffet breakfast was exceptional for a hotel that size. There was a great variety of food each morning to look forward to. The hotel also had a nice roof terrace.
