Facilities: Everything was well-maintained and in perfect condition.
Cleanliness: The room was spotless and tidy. Housekeeping serviced the room daily, replenishing water and toilet paper.
Environment: The location is superb, right near 36th Street. It's a short walk to various attractions, and along the way, there are all kinds of restaurants, cafes, and massage parlors. Being at a major intersection makes it easy to see if there's traffic. Getting stuck in a small, congested alley when taking a ride-hailing service can be annoying, but that's not an issue here. Ride-hailing cars always found us and dropped us off right at the entrance. Although it's close to a main road and an elevated highway, the soundproofing is excellent; once the window is closed, it's completely silent.
The hotel is very new, with no strange odors, just a pleasant scent.
Service: All the staff were absolutely wonderful! On the day we arrived, it was pouring rain around noon. As the ride-hailing driver got out to retrieve our luggage, a doorman immediately rushed over with an umbrella to usher us into the hotel, then returned for the rest of our bags. From check-in to check-out, whenever we were in the lobby, we didn't have to handle our own luggage. Everyone greeted us with a smile (especially the slim gentleman with glasses and the slightly chubby one). Mr. He, who handled our check-in, was a charming young man. He let us check in after waiting about ten minutes for the room to be cleaned. Later, when we couldn't find the exact phone number for Lotus Restaurant, he helped us find it and called to book a table for the buffet. He speaks Chinese, though not fluently with an extensive vocabulary, communication was perfectly fine. Sometimes there were sweet, smiling young women at the front desk. The hotel uses a rotating system, so doormen and front desk staff might also work as servers during breakfast. On our first morning, we recognized familiar faces serving us.
If I have the chance to return to Hanoi, this will be my first choice of hotel.
