Fairbanks Extended Stay

Very awkward walking in through a very unorganized greenhouse and up to a private residence setting, then being sent a half mile away to a rundown apartment building for our room. It was clean enough but old and oddly set up. We went out for dinner and came back and there was not a decent parking space. There was no soap or shampoo, etc . In the morning we had to go back the 0.5 miles to the main residence and up to the breakfast room. The eggs were cold, the coffee lukewarm, ... It just seemed unappetizing at best.

Our room had a private outdoor patio, ceiling fan, full-size fridge, and a well-stocked kitchen. It was spacious, clean, and in a really great location. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the Fairbanks area!

I am fine with older and modest hotels if maintained and clean. My room had multiple issues. The biggest was a ground floor window that would not latch securely. That is a safety hazard. Also had multiple light bulbs out. The hallway smells of smoking so not pleasant. I would not stay again nor recommend for others, especially at the prices charged.

The only reason I stayed at all is because I was stuck there. It was sketchy dirty and old.

We liked the interesting style of the place. The staff was helpful and friendly. Everything was very clean. The l supplies in the kitchen were everything one could possibly need. Our only concern was the bed was not really comfortable. It was hard and not very padded. But truly, everything else was exactly to our liking. It’s also in a good location of Fairbanks.

I’ll always stay here ! Home away from home. The manager treats me like family. Joey

It’s like a 1970’s college dorm that hasnt been upgraded much. It’s functional, but janky. 1 plastic cup that didnt leak. 2 plates, 2 forks. You get it. Minimal and barely functional. Sweet owners, horrible manager that bangs on your door at 11:00am sharp whether or NOT YOU ARE STAYING MULTIPLE Nights!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!! In winter, 90% of your business is aurora watching! We get home at 3 am!! Leave us the hell alone! Fire this nasty human!

I booked this hotel for the on site kitchen and free breakfast. There was no free breakfast or offer thereof. The checkin was cordial at best and in a nearby building, as advertised. The heated floors were great, however, the rest of the building, accommodations, kitchen amenities are very basic, but all work.

No breakfast. Rooms were very run down. The windows didn't block any cold air. The floor heat was nice in places where it worked, but mostly it didn't work. Didn't matter what the thermostat was set at the temp of the room didn't change. The run was pretty clean, just really old. Everything worked fine.
