Lagen, El Nido

My recent stay at Lagen Island Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. If there were a rating higher than five stars, this resort would deserve it. From the moment we made our reservation until our departure, every touchpoint was seamless, thoughtful, and truly world-class. The level of service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality exceeded all expectations. The room amenities alone were remarkable. I was pleasantly surprised to find three types of mobile charging cables readily available, a Dyson hair dryer, and a nightly turndown service complete with a printed bedtime story page—a charming and memorable touch. The toiletries featured a relaxing signature scent, while the vanity and dental kit containers showcased beautiful Filipino-inspired craftsmanship. Every corner of the room reflected thoughtful design; there were no empty walls, only stories and artistic elements that celebrated the Philippines and its rich culture. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary excursions that allowed us to discover the stunning islands surrounding the property. These experiences made our visit even more meaningful and memorable. I would like to extend special recognition to Mike from the restaurant team. His talent and passion for hospitality truly stood out. Not only did he provide exceptional food service and demonstrate excellent product knowledge, but he also shared valuable recommendations on the many activities and attractions that El Nido has to offer. To top it all off, he is a wonderful singer who added even more warmth and charm to our dining experience. A heartfelt thank you as well to Arnel and Aldrin, who were outstanding excursion guides. During one of our kayaking activities, they noticed that my aunt was uncomfortable with her seating posture. Without us even having to request it, they thoughtfully arranged a kayak with a backrest for our next day's excursion. This level of attentiveness and care speaks volumes about the resort's commitment to guest comfort. The unlimited drinking water available throughout our stay was another thoughtful convenience, and communication with the reception team was impressively responsive—almost 24/7 and always in real time. Overall, every peso we spent was absolutely worth it. Lagen delivered not just luxury accommodations, but a complete experience built on authentic Filipino hospitality, thoughtful details, and exceptional service. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay truly unforgettable. We look forward to coming back soon.

Hi, stayed in Lagen for 3 nights. If I can give more than 5 stars that definitely would get it. Everything- the service, the view, the room, the hospitality, the food, the wellness center and again the service were the best I ever got during my life. I am sure I will be back next year!!! The entire staff including those working nonstop to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the entire resort deserve more than 5 stars. Any chance the staff had a moment, they cleaned our room at least twice a day. They knew when we were out and about so they surprised us nicely with a clean room each time. The 24/7 service via whatsapp is extremely amazing ! Even at 3am, I sent a message for milk and they got us milk right away !!! You ask anything and everything through the whatsapp and service is at your disposition. The welcoming and the farewell music was so special to us too. What beautiful people. I can keep going on and on about everything in this resort from the activities, to the tours, to the amenities, to the servicial kindness of everyone. It made our family Trip truly magical.

they said nothing can be so perfect,  maybe that's why their food had to be expensive and taste so bad , good thing they have waiters that can really sing so you won't get bored to the food your havin

This resort is best resort where I have ever been to. Staffs were really nice and kind every time. They helped us to make good memories. Complementary activities were good. We really recommend island hopping. This resort is rich in nature beauty. I will absolutely come back in near future.

Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway.
