SYYF·Shiyuyuanfang Galley Hotel (Yangshuo Ten-Mile Gallery‌ Yulong River‌)

I hesitated for a long time before booking, but because Shiyuanyuan Guesthouse is quite new and the description said it was close to the Yulong River, I decided to stay here for two nights. I wasn't entirely happy with the room choices when booking—rooms with balconies at a reasonable price were already sold out, so I had to settle for a basic room. The guesthouse has a relatively large parking lot, which is very friendly for self-driving travelers. Upon check-in, I felt the room I booked was a bit dim and the outside view was rather cluttered, so I paid the difference to upgrade to a 270-degree view room. The room inside was spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Except for a small building with high-voltage power lines that was an eyesore, the outside scenery was lovely. The service was extremely satisfying, and the breakfast staff in particular were very attentive. However, there is a serious issue with the guesthouse: at certain times, there is an unpleasant, septic-tank-like odor drifting around the front porch hallway. I overheard people renting bicycles at the entrance discussing it several times. This is definitely a problem that needs to be resolved.

The biggest pleasant surprise of our trip to Yangshuo! The courtyard is full of design aesthetics with picturesque views in every corner—great for photos anywhere you snap. The bedding was comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the butler service attentive. It's not far from West Street yet tucked away in a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle. I'll definitely stay here again! The hotel also includes a complimentary travel photography session which turned out great, and the overall service was excellent.

Guangxi was packed everywhere during the National Day holiday, so I just picked Yangshuo on a whim. To my surprise, I hit the absolute best time to visit! The air smelled of sweet osmanthus the whole way, and it wasn't crowded at all—though there were so many foreigners, haha, I felt like the foreigner here. I was beyond satisfied with the hotel I stayed at. Not only is it close to the Yulong River, but the surrounding scenery is also super gorgeous. The moment you step into the lobby, you can feel its quality and elegance. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making me feel completely relaxed on vacation. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Yangshuo!

The best stay we've had in Yangshuo! Gallery Yard is artsy and peaceful, with spotless rooms and warm service. Step outside to stunning karst mountains, return to the courtyard for total serenity—poetry and the idyllic life right before your eyes. A definite five-star experience! The hotel also offers travel photography; the photographer was exceptionally patient and provided great service. Highly recommend!

A very satisfying stay! It was so much more comfortable than staying in Xingping Ancient Town. The room was spacious, clean, and had a charming view. The balcony was perfect for breathing in fresh air, and the view from the rooftop restaurant was like a little piece of Southern France – having a coffee there was simply wonderful! The breakfast had a rich variety of options and tasted great. The staff (both male and female) were also incredibly attentive and practically anticipated our every need. Their service attitude was outstanding! It's a shame we only stayed one night; we'll definitely be back soon! I've already recommended it to several friends!

Staying at Yangshuo Poetry and Faraway Gallery Yard was amazing—open the window to stunning karst views, and the entire courtyard is filled with poetic charm. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and felt just like home. I'll definitely be back! The hotel is very clean and quiet, and the view outside the window is incredibly soothing. The location is also very convenient, with Gongnong Pier just three to four hundred meters away at the village entrance. It's the endpoint of the most scenic rafting route. The bamboo rafting was so much fun, we did it for two days straight. Every morning around 7 AM, we'd walk for half an hour from the hotel to Shui'e Bottom Pier. The whole path was like a beautiful scroll of mountains and rivers. After rafting to Gongnong Pier, we'd walk seven or eight minutes back to the hotel, just in time for breakfast. The breakfast at the hotel's sixth-floor restaurant was very rich, and dining with the stunning mountain and river scenery outside made us feel even better. The staff were very friendly and attentive, asking about guests' daily itineraries and offering good suggestions. Around the village, you can rent electric bikes to explore the Ten-Mile Gallery, and there are many restaurants, making it perfect for a relaxed vacation.
