What a lovely stay! Perhaps it was a good weather. We’re able to see Mount Kinabalu almost through out the day without clouds covering its peak. The weather was nice. The room was spacious and clean. But the foods - not that good though.

All is good except the sound proof of room.  Especially if u stay in the lower floor, can literally hear the footsteps of those staying upstairs.  Request for upper floor or book the deluxe room.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the location and beauty of this hotel! The gorgeous gardens and the view of Mount Kinabalu are simply magical, especially watching the sunrise at 6 AM as Kinabalu disappears behind the clouds – it feels straight out of a movie. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the receptionists were attentive and friendly. The service was excellent too. They even called our room to ask if we needed anything and helped us call a taxi. The fresh mountain air, the smell of pines and flowers, it's all amazing. I particularly loved the cozy terraces. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay; it felt like living in a fairytale.

The room i was given was just renovated n had the smell of paint. The view fm the room to sunrise and the kinabalu mountain was amazing. Breakfast was alcarte. Nothing much to do at Kundasang at night.

Try to request a room on a higher floor, otherwise, it can get quite noisy, especially with children, due to the wooden floors. The scenery is beautiful and pleasant though.
