Poiano Garda Resort Hotel

Stayed at this place for a couple of nights prior to our flight from Venice. Very quiet, large and beautiful territory with all kinds of sport activities. You can have a nice walk any time of day and night - the place feels very safe. It was such a pity that the outdoor pool was open but stone cold. I would love to have a swim. But it was partially compensated by indoor SPA. You need to book it and that`s an extra but the fascility is nice. The room was spacious and quiet. A kettle, mini fridge, hairdrier and everything provided. And breakfasts were amazing! Will definitely be back.

The reception staff are great so welcoming and helpful! The yoga instructor Nick is amazing - morning yoga on the grass by the stream made our time there special. Steve the tennis coach is brilliant recommend a lesson when he’s there. The 50 m lap pool is great only downside is you have to swim when it’s quiet… the pool is very busy during the day with kids playing as there is no separate kids pool. The rooms are dated but the sports side makes up for that. Didn’t get to try the driving range. Would definitely stay again.

I have just returned from Garda and my stay at this hotel was excellent, the staff were super helpful and friendly and the facilities excellent. Location overlooking Garda has some stunning views to be had but be prepared for some hills and steps, however golf carts on hand to ferry people around.

Lovely hotel for a week self catering with teenagers, great facilities and lots to do, pool bar worked well for watching the World Cup. Shuttle bus service is fantastic and the service was great, our apartment was perfect for what we needed and a lovely view from our balcony. The sun also shined all week ☀️😊

Overall 5 stars. Basic self-catering accommodation but everything we needed, clean and very comfy beds. Bus in/out of town was very handy. Kids loved the football pitch for playing with other kids in the evenings.

We are just back from a holiday here. Hotel staff: very helpful Restaurant: continental and cooked breakfast, plenty of food even when you went there later. Food was nice at dinner - there were two courses to choose from. There was only one bad meal and that was houmous with vegetables. It looked like a bald hedgehog when it appeared (about 10 strips of veg stuck in it). It was awful. Resort: very hilly. Dont come here if you have even minor issues with mobility. However there is a golf buggy doing the rounds so you can catch the driver’s attention for a lift or contact reception and they’ll contact him. Pool: lovely but not heated. It was always busy but there are more than enough sunbeds. There’s a bar at one end and they had it decorated for the World Cup and showed live matches. Room: we were in a junior suite. It was a good size and the balcony overlooked the pool. However the fridge was not cold in the slightest. Shuttle bus: they run every 30 minutes but more frequently if anyone is waiting. It’s a 5 minute drive to town. In my opinion there’s no way you could walk there in less than 30 minutes.. Facilities: spa was £15 for 3 hours. Tennis was £7.50 per person for an hour and £3 for a racquet. I didn’t see anyone use either the spa or the tennis courts. I think it was too expensive for guests. Day trips: often you get picked up by the coach at the barrier to the hotel which is about a 7/8 minute walk away. All in all, a really good resort.

Stayed here with my fiancée and toddler and had the best time. All of the staff were amazing and fantastic with our little one, who really enjoyed himself and quickly took to the team. The room was lovely and had an amazing view of the lake. There were plenty of activities for all ages around the pool, which was a great addition. The shuttle service was very convenient, taking guests into Garda town every 15 minutes, as it can be a little too far to walk in the heat. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning to this beautiful place in Lake Garda. We made some wonderful family memories here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for families visiting Lake Garda.

Although the resort was on the edge of Garda there was a regular free shuttle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments were dated but clean. We were only really in them to sleep and eat. It was good value as there was plenty to do on site. If we had a query or problem, we mentioned it to reception and it was dealt with straight away. The only real problem we had was initially being given an apartment next to where school parties were staying. We asked to be moved which was sorted immediately. They even sent down someone to take us and our luggage to our new apartment.
