Lugu Lake Cheman Ruyingsong Mid-Levels Hotel

I rarely write reviews, but Cieman definitely left a deep impression on me. We booked a room on the 3rd floor for 3 days, and opening the window revealed a full lake view. The facilities were complete, and the breakfast and afternoon tea each day were very rich. The hotel's small activities were also interesting, like the bonfire party and butter tea experience, both of which were great. What's most worth mentioning is the service; they communicated breakfast content in advance every day, and our exclusive group arranged travel needs promptly, even coming down to pick us up at the bottom of the hotel slope. The recommended private car and boat services were also excellent. Three days here truly cleansed my soul; I'll definitely come again if I have the chance!

An unexpected delight during our Yunnan trip! We made a last-minute decision to visit Lugu Lake. After seeing reviews mentioning cats (which my kids love), we booked this place without much further thought. To our surprise, the children absolutely adored it, and we adults found it incredibly relaxing too. The staff were so kind and helpful to the little ones, and the convenient pick-up/drop-off service made getting around effortless. Even on a rainy day, the kids had a blast participating in the guesthouse activities! We even hiked up the back mountain to forage for mushrooms – so much fun! The overall decor perfectly complements the stunning scenery of Lugu Lake; it's a paradise for photography enthusiasts. I've stayed in many expensive guesthouses, but this is the only one I genuinely feel offered excellent value for money. From the hardware (scenery, decor, facilities) to the software (service, experience), everything was top-notch. We regretted not arriving sooner and wished we could have stayed an extra two days. Just relaxing at the guesthouse, strolling around, or enjoying a drink on the terrace with the view – it was all incredibly comfortable. It's perfect for a few friends to gather, unwind, and clear their minds. One last thing: the breakfast was quite rich, especially the Western options. My two kids were fighting over it and even wanted to order more after finishing! Unfortunately, portions are prepared in advance, so if your kids are big eaters, I recommend ordering an extra portion in advance. 😂😂😂 If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back with friends for another vacation. A million recommendations!!!!

The room design is incredibly stylish, clean, and well-equipped. They even provide Le Labo toiletries, a Dyson hairdryer, steam eye masks, books, and laundry detergent... so thoughtful! Upon parking, a car picked us up and took us directly to the hotel entrance. They even offered a shuttle to the pier for boat rides. The surrounding restaurants and the hotel's own dining options are both fantastic, and the views are simply stunning! A special thanks to all the staff and our butler, Xiao Che – their service was so attentive and nice that my parents actually felt a little embarrassed by all the care we received. We are so grateful for everyone's hospitality. We'll definitely be back and will recommend it to our friends!

Overall, a great experience! The room view was absolutely unbeatable, and the service was top-notch. My only minor complaints are that the breakfast selection was quite limited, and the absence of a wardrobe and air conditioning in the room was a bit inconvenient.

The facilities are complete, clean and hygienic, and the service is attentive. The view of Lugu Lake is particularly good, and there's a group of kittens. A very good stay experience!

The best hotel in Lugu Lake, literally and figuratively, with the best views due to its high altitude. The hotel's design is excellent, and I heard we even stayed in the same room Hu Ge once did. The service was top-notch! They offer free rides to nearby destinations. In the evening, listening to the Mosuo brother talk about 'walking marriages' gave me a deeper understanding of this custom, transforming my initial surprise into appreciation; however, its successful implementation truly requires the collective goodwill of society members.

I rarely write reviews, but this was by far the most satisfying accommodation on our trip. We later found out that Qieman is considered one of the top guesthouses around Lugu Lake. The location is excellent, with unbeatable lake views right outside the window. The room facilities are high-end and smart, and the design is tasteful. In the afternoon, you can pick apples and pears freely from the orchard. Breakfast and afternoon tea are exquisite, and dinner in the guesthouse's sunroom offers delicious food and stunning scenery, which is truly refreshing. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly nice and provide five-star hotel-level service. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

I brought my parents to Lugu Lake, and they absolutely loved this hotel. First, its location away from the bustling tourist areas made for a much quieter stay. Second, the room faced Lugu Lake directly, offering stunning views of Mount Gemu Goddess. Third, the hotel food was delicious and allowed us to experience local Lugu Lake cuisine without even leaving the premises. The prices were also very reasonable, around 100 RMB per person. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely choose Cheman again for my next trip to Lugu Lake.
