The Athens Gate Hotel

The room was decent, and the location was excellent, very close to the attractions. The rooftop restaurant offered an unbeatable view; it felt like the hotel was the tallest building in central Athens. The breakfast was plentiful!

Arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night, and the staff were very welcoming! The room was small, and the elevator was tiny, but it's better than no elevator at all. The best part is the excellent location, very close to the Acropolis and the city center. You can also enjoy a beautiful view while having breakfast.

This four-star hotel offers excellent value for money. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were impeccable, featuring a bathtub, disposable slippers, and olive oil body lotion. The location is also great, just one metro stop from Syntagma Square. The best part, however, is the breakfast view – you can enjoy your meal with a stunning panoramic view of the Acropolis. The view is absolutely superb! I would definitely choose the Athens Gate Hotel again on my next trip to Athens.

The hotel has a bathtub, which is a nice touch. It's really close to the Acropolis, and breakfast offers an amazing view of it directly! The selection isn't huge, but it's more than enough. Starting each day with that Acropolis view while eating breakfast just puts you in the best mood!

The hotel's location is superb; it's right by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and just a four-minute walk to the Acropolis Museum. There are also many great restaurants nearby, and the hotel staff are very welcoming. We booked the cheapest room type this time, and the window looks out onto an air shaft, which provides ventilation but no real view. The room size is quite good for European standards, but the facilities are a bit dated.
