Parc Broekhuizen l Culinair Landgoed

Culinairy estate Parc Broekhuizen is in a peaceful scenic part of the Netherlands. The staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a la carte with a small selection of included items. No buffet. Great view on the pond and garden. Quiet morning music. The rooms in the carriage annex have high ceilings, rustic feel with wooden structural beams in sight, no elevator, short stroll from the main building.

Arriving and seeing the house from afar creates an excellent impression. Large old house ( albeit rebuilt in 1900s). Good service with very friendly staff. Fabulous location with lake behind surrounded by forest. Many nice walks. Rooms in the main house and coach house, nicely decorated though minimal. Air conditioning worked well. Nice having the minibar without extra charge. Slightly strange smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding with everything freshly prepared, good quality. Seems more oriented to conferences and weddings. Restaurant Voltaire is the star and probably the reason for most people staying there. The bistro also looked good. Good place to stay for night or weekend away. Little more attention needed to the small details ( some bulbs need replacing, getting rid of odours).

285 euro for a small room in the attic is 145 euro overrated. Dinner lasted 3,5 hours. Numerous bites and in betweens but the main course was a piece of 4 square centimeters meat. Cheapest glass of wine 12 euro. Lokation is beautiful but the prices are far too high. At the breakfast they forgot to give us the menu.

We had a wonderful stay at Parc Broekhuizen. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and the views on a sunny morning were simply phenomenal waking up to that was a real treat. Everything in the room was spotless, and the premium toiletries from Grown Alchemist were a nice touch that made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was excellent and the location itself is beautiful, perfect for a peaceful stroll around the property. Everything felt calm and well cared for, making this a truly relaxing getaway. Definitely a place to return to.

The hotel is located in a beautiful estate, slightly ouitside of the village -Leersum. It is a peacefull, beautiful place - even on a gloomy november day. The room we stayed (in the side building -coach house pamorama suite) was spacy and comfy. It had a nice sitting area with a sofa from which you can enjoy the panoramic view of the estate. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was 1st class and served in a stylish restaurant with beautiful views.

I reserved a surprise Dream Packet for my husband’s birthday in early August. We had to postpone our trip from the US to The Netherlands but we were able to rebook for our Anniversary later in August. So happy we did! We enjoyed a wonderful lunch in Bistro Lof - (loved the upgrades and setting). After lunch we walked the beautiful property which along with the house has a lot of history. Friendly staff checked us in and we loved our room with a gorgeous view. The absolute highlight was dinner in Voltaire. Julian Schweigl, the restaurant manager, guided us through our dinner with spectacular wines. Please enjoy some pictures we took. Beautiful estate in a lovely setting, surrounded by a lake and forests. It mixes old times with modernity in such a tactful way. Loved our panorama suite and sitting in the terrace overlooking the lake and the long walks around the property was super relaxing. Shoutout to Emma at reception who was ever helpful and attentive since the time of the booking up until the last minute of our stay. Highly recommended!m, we will definitely come back.
