Hampton by Hilton Huangshan Scenic Area South Gate

Looking around Tangkou Town, this is probably the best value-for-money hotel. It's close to the mountain entrance, within walking distance. While there are other hotels near the entrance, their exteriors didn't look as good as this one. We got an upgraded room, which was super spacious, and the bathroom was quite large. The toiletries were good too. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the coffee was nice. I highly recommend the restaurant next door; don't bother with those 'influencer-hyped' places. This restaurant has an open kitchen and the dishes I had both nights were delicious. The ambiance was also comfortable. Since it's currently the off-season, the price was very friendly. I recommend staying here.

This stay was great! The hotel's location is good, and parking is convenient. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the room was clean with no strange smells. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom with its wet/dry separation was a thoughtful touch. Eating options nearby were also plentiful. The value for money is absolutely fantastic!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Both the facilities and the service were excellent. The hotel offers a thoughtful shuttle service to and from the Huangshan South Gate Transfer Center. The Buick GL8 business van was very comfortable, and the driver was highly professional. Regarding dining, the hotel's breakfast during my stay was incredibly rich and delicious, providing comprehensive nutrition, which was very convenient for my mountain climbing. This hotel is definitely worth staying at.

The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with a view of Tiandu Peak outside the window. The hotel wasn't by the main road, so it was quiet. The hotel and the large indoor parking garage are owned by the same person, making parking and exiting convenient. The hotel owner also recently opened a new restaurant next to the hotel, which is convenient and reliable for meals. It's suitable for leisure and vacation. We stayed here for four nights this time and had a wonderful experience; it's definitely worth coming back! The front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff all left a great impression. The security guard at the entrance was enthusiastic, friendly, professional, and generous in directing parking, helping with luggage, and guiding guests to the restaurant. He was very dedicated and deserves praise!

This hotel in Tangkou Town is a high-end option with excellent service, new facilities, spacious rooms, and convenient parking. The breakfast spread is also extensive. It's just a 10-minute walk to the South Gate of Huangshan, and there are plenty of shops downstairs, along with several good attractions nearby.

The hotel is located right off the highway, a bit of a distance from Namdaemun. The surrounding area has developed into a modern small town with abundant dining, accommodation, and entertainment options.😌 However, in this bustling environment, Hampton by Hilton doesn't seem to stand out with the brand's expected service features. The hotel's hardware aligns with Hampton's positioning, but for guests staying here, I personally feel most are mountaineers arriving late and leaving early. For them, the short one-night experience is all about resting up and preparing for their climb. The warm service needed for a late arrival and breakfast for an early start are key to their experience. Based on these two points, the hotel's value for money is only average. Choosing this hotel for our self-driving trip to Huangshan was the best decision. They offer free parking and it's about an 8-minute walk to the South Gate transfer point. The hotel isn't directly on the road, so it's incredibly quiet. The room was spacious, and the bedding and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious.
