Hotel Loy Chiang Mai - Adult Only

The best hotel in Chiang Mai! Everything was perfect – the service, cleanliness, location, and decor were all unbeatable. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 It offers great value for money and easily rivals big-name hotels. The staff were incredibly, incredibly helpful. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was lovely, with towels folded into elephant shapes. The hotel breakfast was super delicious; I can't stop thinking about the Thai fried noodles. The owner (I think?) was very cute, wearing a little flower on their head, like the 'wisdom grass' on the village chief in 'Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf'. I recommend this place for couples or girlfriends; the hotel environment is great, perfect for taking lots of photos.

The room was great, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic, especially Lucas at the front desk. He speaks Chinese and was very helpful, making communication a breeze.

I booked this hotel because I was worried that the Nimman area would be too noisy for a good night's sleep. It's close to Tha Phae Gate, just a short walk away. The hotel itself has a great interior, a beautiful swimming pool, and the rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. I loved it! The staff were exceptionally kind and enthusiastic; they'd greet us coming and going and even offer us drinks. The young man with the airplane toy on his head saw us heading out at night and sprayed us with mosquito repellent. On a side note, the breakfast was delicious, just as good as what you'd find outside. Getting to Nimman Road by taxi was also quite convenient, taking about 15 minutes. If I come back, I'll definitely stay here again.

This is a truly terrible hotel. I accidentally got a little bit of iodine medicine on the bedsheet while cleaning a wound. The hotel staff, without making any attempt to clean it, immediately told us that because of the residue, the sheet couldn't be washed and demanded we pay 1500 Thai Baht. After waiting for a long time, we realized the sheet they showed us hadn't been treated at all. I asked what if it could be washed off, and Lucas, the front desk staff, adamantly stated it definitely couldn't be washed and we had to pay. In the end, with very limited time, we took the front desk staff to the sink and completely washed it clean for him. He showed no apology, just said we could leave. We believe this is a form of extortion targeting Chinese tourists. Furthermore, the hotel environment is absolutely not worth the price. It's a very small hotel, the rooms themselves aren't very clean, quite damp, and the bathroom sliding door often gets stuck. There are many hotels in Chiang Mai; you can definitely choose another one.

This trip, I booked two rooms with a friend. I saw that the hotel was adult-only, but during my stay, I still saw children. The soundproofing in the rooms was already poor, and I could hear conversations from the next room clearly. The hotel breakfast was à la carte, and each person could order two items, which was decent. The front desk staff were quite enthusiastic, but the room cleaning was very rough.

The room was spacious, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was good. Overall, a great review!

This was the second hotel we stayed at in Chiang Mai, and it's a beautiful one! The main draw is its excellent location! The room was a little warm when we first entered. Also, several people at the front desk spoke Chinese, which was a pleasant surprise. But what I really want to highlight is the fantastic service! Honestly, every hotel in Chiang Mai has great service. They even gave us small gifts! There was one short guy with a buzz cut at the front desk who would jokingly call female guests 'Princess [name], please sign here' – it was really amusing, haha. He'd crack jokes and if he saw someone needed help, he'd immediately ask in Chinese and resolve the issue right away. He helped with luggage, gave directions, and could handle everything!

This is my second stay at this hotel. It's hands down the best value for money in Chiang Mai, no doubt about it. While it's a bit out of the way, it's not far from the Old City. The most important thing is that they have the best staff in Chiang Mai – warm, meticulous, and hard-working. Especially the uncle with the little sprout hair clip and the young man who effortlessly switches between Chinese, English, and Thai. I've stayed in so many hotels, but very few have left such a strong impression on me. The hotel facilities are just average, but the service is absolutely top-notch.
