Ark Canary Wharf

We chose this hotel as we were attending a concert at the O2. We only stayed a night so any inconvenience wasn’t really something we wanted to fuss over. It was a pretty windy day outside although heading to the room; the hallways were really hot and getting into the room was not any better. The window does open but slight breezes every so often. The room looked more spacious in the pictures, but expected it. The fridge had melted ice or something of that nature as water pooled inside of it. The shower is a bit small. The pillows did have some stuff on it and the sheets had an interesting smell; not a fresh one. Pros: DLR is less than a 5 minute walk; Canary Station is also a walkable option. Tesco express is next to the DLR. Cons: No air conditioning

This was an excellent stay. I loved the location. It was in the safe canary wharf. I loved the room, it was clean, small and felt like home. It was an excellent choice for me as a slo traveller. The staff were very friendly too. The views from the highest floor were spectacular.

It had all the amnesties and close to the tube steering as well

O lobed staying in Canary wharf, the place is abuzz with a sense of possibility and wonder with lots of energy. Sad to report the market tanked during my stay so I lost a small fortune but such ia the life of an investor, you've gotta roll with the ounches as the song goes

Very small studio with no air con. Great location, walkable to restaurants and malls in Canary wharf.

Honestly one the best places to book if you’re travelling to London.. amazing location.. the staff were very friendly… one thing is that if you’re going in the summer and it’s really hot they don’t have Ac in the rooms but honestly one of the best stays I’ve had.. highly recommended

Big disappointment, there is no air conditioning in the rooms even though it is a very recent building so wven leaving aside the fact that the temperature is very uncomfortable the air is stale amd unhealthy to start with. Also dirt and rubbish everywhere, haven't seen anyone cleaning

I recover terrible customer service from front of house, who was quite rude and made me feel quite uncomfortable. The bed was atrocious. The pool was very nice and had a beautiful view. The reservations team were very helpful.

Good location. DLR less than 5 min walk away and 4 stops away from Canary Wharf (10 mins) or 20min ish walk. Facilities are great, really nice pool cinema room etc. view from 15th floor was really good. Apartment unfortunately let it down - there is no A/C (we knew this before booking but did regret it a bit as it ended up being 24c) would be nice if the rooms had fans. There is also nothing provided in the kitchen, just a kettle and mugs you have to ask for everything, I understand why they do this it just put us off cooking anything as we would’ve had to gone downstairs to ask. Another thing to note is it’s tinyyyy (again we could see that before booking) but hadn’t quite realised how small- it’s definitely more suited for one person and gives more student accommodation vibes than hotel, our apartment was run down in a few places. There isn’t really any photos online of the bathrooms but the shower again is very small- can just about fit one small person. We were given one toilet roll and had to ask reception for more, to which they had to send someone to our apartment for. Also to note- No matter what size apartment you get the beds are all the same size (small double) so just bare that in mind if you’re tall or like to spread out. Overall the stay was good, the price I think was fair for the quality of apartment. I’d stay here again in the winter if the price was right. It could just make some improvements.
