Yuzankaku (Oga Onsen)

Although the system allowed me to make a reservation for one person, it turns out that the hotel only accepts reservations for two or more people. I hope this information is helpful to others.

I am very satisfied with the overall experience. The meal arrangement includes Oga's unique stone-yaki cuisine, which is unexpected. The staff is friendly and they give you a small gift when you check in, which is very considerate.

The room was lovely, and the view of the sea was fantastic. The food was also very satisfying. We especially enjoyed the live demonstration of the stone-grilled food at dinner. The elementary school children's dinner is the same as the adult menu. It is famous for its unique hot spring where hot water gushes out of the mouth of a Namahage (demon). The color of the hot spring water seems to change every day, and the women's bath was greenish both days we stayed. I think it would be good to have disposable combs in the changing room of the hot spring. Many people bring towels from their rooms but forget their combs. There was also a shuttle service to the Namahage Taiko performance at the Oga Onsen Exchange Hall. You should definitely check it out! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Namahage!

I was satisfied with the good hot water and delicious food. The food was just as delicious as the entertainment. The seaweed in the miso soup in the morning was chewy and the simpler it was, the tastier it was. When I walked around the area, I could hear the sound of hot water gushing out. The lady at the local liquor store was also kind and funny. There was also a live Namahage performance, which I'm sure was only available on certain days of the week, and it was very immersive.
