Villa the Spot Koh Samui

❌❌❌ RED FLAG. DANGER. UNSANITARY. ❌❌❌ Villa the Spot Koh Samui is one of the worst places we've ever seen. We arrived and left immediately without checking in. Result: a loss of over 100,000 rubles. — The booking photo is a lie. In reality, everything is in disrepair, dirty, and neglected. — The unsanitary conditions are total: sticky surfaces, odor, dirty common areas, and it feels like there's no cleaning at all. — The location and entrance are unsafe: taxis refuse to come, and orders are cancelled. You could simply be left stuck without a way to leave. — The owner lives on the premises, creating an extremely strange and uncomfortable atmosphere, with no sense of personal space. When we tried to cancel the reservation and negotiate, the owner smirked and said he wouldn't refund us, and trip.com wouldn't believe us. He became aggressive, and we had to leave immediately. Because of this, we weren't able to document all the violations, but we were shocked. The pool was dirty. There were crawling creatures on the bottom. The upholstered furniture and sun loungers were stained and covered in hair. We didn't check in or use the accommodations for a single minute because it was unsafe and physically unpleasant to stay there.

The hotel has stunning views, stylish villa design, there are 2 shared pools, as well as a kitchen area. But the access to the hotel is quite complicated, without a lot of driving experience it is better not to drive up on your own.

If you want to experience something out of the ordinary, be sure to stay here! I especially recommend this hotel for those visiting Koh Samui for the second time or more and staying for more than two nights. It's also a great option to buy food in town and stay in the hotel! Japanese people are welcome. If it's your first time, be sure to contact the hotel and have them arrange a shuttle. I was able to leave my luggage before check-in. They also kindly accommodated my early morning check-out. Since taxis are hard to come by early in the morning, I recommend using the hotel's car to go to the airport. During the day, you can call a taxi using Grab, and you can return home from the downtown area, but the road in front of the hotel is very steep. Therefore, you will be dropped off about 50 meters away, not directly in front of the hotel. From there, you have to walk to the hotel, but the slope is really steep and it was quite a challenge. However, once you enter the hotel, you'll understand why you came all the way there and be impressed by the vacation you'll enjoy. Koh Samui is known for its beaches, but this hotel offers everything from mountains, forests, and the sea. The location is truly fantastic, so I recommend a room with a pool. Finally, Koh Samui sometimes experiences power outages due to wind or rain. In those cases, the lights will come on at this hotel, but the outlets, air conditioning, and water will be unavailable. It takes about 5-6 hours for the power to be restored. We had the electricity restored around 2am. This is an island-wide issue, not a hotel issue, so there's nothing we can do about it, but you can solve the problem by bringing a mobile battery or handheld fan, so please be sure to have these with you just in case. It can be scary when the surrounding area is completely dark during a power outage, but we were able to spend a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We are very grateful. 

Beautiful view, but steep climb, taxis do not want to go there and pick up, you need to put a point higher. There are no slippers in the room, the patches are simple. In general, the rooms can be better for this price, but still nice. Quiet and calm, far from civilization. I recommend 7/10

The rooms and the views are incredible, it is worth spending a little more money to get the best view because if you are at the back you don't see much either, the pools are incredible in general everything is very nice, the only drawback is that you have to be aware that the location is almost impossible for a taxi, it is a complicated road for cars
