Dar d'Art

We have been lucky enough to stay at Dar d’Art on many occasions. There are many beautiful places to stay in Essaouira but none as magical as here . It is unique on many levels The decor and art is an absolute feast to the eye whether you know of the artists or not Phillipe ‘s collection is spectacular There is an eclectic mix of retro and traditional furniture that’s both stylish and very cool and comfortable The pool is one of the largest I have ever been in and very clean . Plenty of seating in and out of the shade The bedrooms are all very individual every one of them is comfortable and a joy to stay in We have just been in one with our own terrace Phillipe is a wonderfully warm and welcoming host Souad the house lady is also incredibly warm and nothing is too much trouble And the food she cooks is the best I have tasted in Morocco We could not finish ours as the portions are so generous The grounds are magical and you are free to explore We extended our stay as could not bare to leave You really do feel part of this magical world when you are here not just a guest Do not miss the opportunity to stay here you won’t have any regrets

everything very nice and pleasant! philippe is nice and kind, also the food is great and the atmosphere really relaxing! I really recommend this place if you want an unique experience together with your trip to Essaouira, I will definitely come back :)

With a warm welcome by Philippe our stay at Dar D’art started. And it rightly set the tone for the following three days which we highly enjoyed. Philippe is a true gentleman, and takes very good care of his guests together with the staff (also very friendly). Our room was lovely, decorated with lots of art, and equipped with a comfortabel bed and private bathroom. We enjoyed the homemade lunches and dinner which were very tasty, and above all: the feeling of being ‘at home’. Highly recommend a stay at Dar D’Art. Dana & Jorg from the NL
