Crowne Plaza KUNMING CITY CENTRE by IHG

I originally chose this hotel near the starting station of Metro Line 6 for its convenience to the airport, but I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the surroundings were, even just wandering around. It's also super convenient for shopping and dining.

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the subway station, and you can see Nanping Pedestrian Street right from your room – it's just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also good, and the room was relatively quiet. The staff are very service-oriented; they proactively offered help during breakfast, and housekeeping was diligent with their service. Overall, it's a great place.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. Although it's been open for a few years, the hard furnishings are still very well-maintained. Both the public areas and the rooms are kept in good condition. The hotel service is also great, especially Ella, Lily, and Jenny, who provide very attentive service and respond promptly to messages and questions. The breakfast is quite decent, with three types of freshly squeezed juice available.

The room was quite spacious with a small balcony overlooking the Panlong River. It's a shame the jacarandas were a bit past their prime! The room was clean and tidy; you can always count on the hygiene of established star-rated hotels. All the staff offered service with a smile, being professional and attentive, especially the breakfast restaurant staff who were very thoughtful! The breakfast was plentiful with so many varieties, and the fruits were all very fresh! The night views around the hotel were still beautiful!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. All the staff I encountered were friendly and provided timely assistance, which truly meets the Crowne Plaza brand standards.

I specifically booked this hotel to see the jacarandas along the Panlong River. From the balcony, you can see some of them, though not the most vibrant section. You'll need to walk about ten minutes to reach the fullest bloom, but the entire riverside is lined with jacarandas, so the flower-viewing experience was already excellent. The hotel was clean, hygienic, and offered a rich variety of food. The beds were comfortable, and it's conveniently located within walking distance of a commercial center. Before coming, I saw some negative reviews about the hotel, like outdated facilities, but after staying three nights, I didn't find them old at all. The soundproofing was also very good. The room was spacious and had a small balcony. The bathroom could be used without disturbing anyone else's rest. Overall, it's highly recommended.

I bought a package from Trip.com and chose the option that included a small hot pot rice noodle, which was a pleasant surprise and absolutely delicious! The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to amenities and transportation, making it great for exploring. Overall, it was a very good stay!

Everything was great, and the service was top-notch. We arrived in the early morning and had a smooth check-in. The location and views were excellent. The room was spacious, and the room service was very good. Breakfast offered a variety of delicious Yunnan local specialties. They even have robots delivering meals! It's definitely worth experiencing. The only downside was that the TV didn't have screen casting functionality.
