The hotel called us in advance before our arrival, and the check-in process on the day was super smooth. The front desk service is quite good. Since the hotel has been open for some years, some of the room hardware is a bit outdated—for instance, the shower space is a bit narrow, the fixed-temperature AC setting is not very user-friendly, and the noisy air conditioning at night affected our sleep. Overall, the hotel is still pretty good, especially the service. There is a large shopping mall around the hotel, making it very convenient to find food, and food deliveries are brought up to the room by robots.

I'm a repeat guest at the Crowne Plaza Kunming City Centre. Every time I visit, I contact my butler, Jenny, in advance, and she always prepares the room and toiletries for me ahead of time—her attention to detail is evident in everything she does. This time, we came to celebrate our anniversary, and she thoughtfully decorated the room for us. We had a wonderful stay and it's a well-deserved 5-star rating!

Located in the heart of Kunming, it's super close to the Old Street and Nanqiang Night Market, with plenty of options for dining and strolling nearby. The breakfast is indeed extensive, and since it wasn't too crowded, the dining experience was quite pleasant. Starting the day with Chinese crullers soaked in chicken soup every morning is a quick way to pack on the pounds—the pan-fried vegetables are definitely worth a recommendation. I'd definitely stay here again given the chance.

Great location right in the city center, within walking distance to all the pedestrian streets. There's also a subway station nearby with direct access to the airport, which is very convenient. However, the facilities are quite dated—even the TV remote control didn't work properly—and it definitely doesn't meet five-star standards.

They called in advance to ask about our room preferences, and the service was warm and attentive. When I got a mosquito bite, the front desk promptly provided iodine swabs. During breakfast, the staff checked in on our dining experience. Upon arrival, staff proactively offered to help with luggage, and they easily accommodated a late check-out. The hotel surroundings are quiet, and it's within walking distance to the square and Plaza 66. All in all, it was a wonderful stay.

I highly recommend it! Additionally, I compared the prices of souvenirs and tobacco/alcohol counters on the first floor of the lobby with outside stores, and they were similar. So if you're traveling and want to buy souvenirs, you can buy them with confidence.
