Union Hotel

Great hotel with an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Union Station where the airport train arrives. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage. There were coffee and tea making facilities in the room, and a cafe in the lobby. The breakfast was quite tasty; you can order one dish and a drink from the menu if breakfast is included in your room rate. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly, especially Andrew who stood out during check-in. You can leave your luggage for storage when checking out, and there's daily housekeeping. The price was a bit high, but I guess that's typical for Toronto. Also, the heating system was quite noisy, but it wasn't an issue for me personally. Similarly, the soundproofing might be a bit weak for sensitive sleepers. All in all, a good deal, and I would consider returning.

A really good, clean, and trendy hotel located right by the train and bus station. Museums and theaters are also within easy reach. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There's a kettle, tea, coffee, slippers, and a bathrobe provided, and the decor is tastefully done. Just note that a $150 deposit is required via card. The only downside is the very, very noisy air conditioner. Delicious breakfasts are served in the lobby.

Terrible experience. They gave us the wrong room type, and when we pointed it out, they refused to do anything until the next morning. The hotel is very old; they claim it's renovated, but it's clearly an old property. The location is okay, right across from Union Station. I specifically requested *not* to have a corner room, but they gave me one twice. The room is tiny, can't even fit a large suitcase, and the floor was dirty.
