The Westin Portland Harborview

Hotel and the room were clean. Good space in the room and bathroom. Pillows were perfect. Sheets were nice. Towels were substantial. Very nice front desk staff. Great location. Although not with me, allows pets, so that’s why i chose to stay there. Not well insulated doors and windows only drawback.

I was able to get an early check-in which I always appreciate. I had previously asked about a specific room which was not available but got one in the same position on a higher floor. The view was great looking over Portland, Me. It was explained there was work being done in a nearby elevator, and I might hear it. I didn't but I did, however, hear loud doors. I mean slamming. When the hotel is busier, that must be a big problem. I always enjoy having a small refrigerator, so that was good. One other thing I noticed, even when the room is comfortably warm, it doesn't circulate to the bathroom, which is by the door. There is no heating vent in the bathroom, and it was cold! Especially getting out of the shower! But love the Westin and look forward to my next visit. Free continental breakfast maybe?

Great location, beautiful property in historic building

Wow, they told us that we were the guests of the day. We celebrated my son's birthday and the added freebies (free breakfast, birthday card, late checkout and candies surprise) are indeed very much appreciated! Thank you so much Westin Team for the effort! Of course, this is a Westin brand so everything is perfect!

Great location, staff friendly and attentive. Centrally located near a lot of great places

Nice hotel, good restaurant with a mostly friendly and helpful staff. The room and hotel in general were clean and nice. Neighborhood has quite a few sketchy characters but they seem pretty to themselves. Would definitely return.

we were here May 26-28th, our stay was fantastic. From the minute we pulled up valet was very attentive, the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful, our room immaculate and had a beautiful view of the bay. the rooms are quiet with the best beds. this was our first time in Portland , plenty to do and explore, however , be aware there is a good number of homeless persons actively using IV *****, it is very sad, especially if you're having breakfast in the restaurant facing the church, with that said we never felt unsafe . we would come here again.
